Last year, my central AC went out during a 95° heatwave. Luckily, it was the start capacitor that failed and that was a quick and easy fix. A friend told me that I may as well replace this part because it was also an inexpensive and easy replacement. He was right!This is a good quality replacement part that functions well. It was easy to install and my AC unit seems less noisy now. I paid about $25 to replace two parts. An HVAC tech would've charged $600-800! I highly recommend this part if you're handy and need an upgrade.

Part was in perfect condition and shipped timely as promised. This is almost exact duplicate of part replacing with same terminals and labeling do it was easy to swap out old and install this new part. It works perfectly as it should without a problem .

Repair company quoted an exorbitant amount for this item so I came to Amazon to find one. This is exactly what was needed to replace contactor in my 16 year old A/C unit. Works perfectly and great value for the price!

Worked great (but new A/C was needed & purchased).If you need spade-lug connections, pick that style. This is for bare-lead wires.

Very good. Product came sealed. This is the first repair like this I have ever done . I watched 10 you tube videos to get my education and to learn what to fix. My unit is from 1995 and looks great but was no longer working. I replaced the capacitor, cleaned the coils inside the furnace, cleaned my thermostat and replaced the contactor and then I had cold air. After I replaced my capacitor my unit iced up , so I cleaned the coils, but then the thermostat was blinking so I ordered this and installed it. I would suggest doing all 4 things to get your air working properly. I found 4 dirty air filters inside my return air duct from the previous owner at the bottom of the inside unit. Anyway this item was sealed and I got what I ordered and it worked. It was an education and a success. I am a woman and am trying to save some cash! So you can do this too.

I needed a replacement contactor for my air conditioner which went out on the 2nd of July. Everybody was closed at the supply houses. The big box stores don't carry repair parts as they are in cahoots with the HVAC industry in some sort of non-compete arrangement so your average HVAC contractor can charge you out the wazoo for a $15 part. Between myself my wife and my daughter we were all searching for something we could get before Monday the 6th and my daughter ended up coming across this particular contactor which is an exact match for what I needed and could not find at any other store. I will say ace had a couple of types of contactors but they were not a match and I didn't want to get creative with my wiring. So I've seen four or five different brands and been able to hold them and feel the quality and see the quality, so to that level of experience I would say this is as good as any I've seen and better than a couple. It was nice to have the upgraded model that provides a cover over the top of the contactor side to protect it from getting fouled or failing due to bugs or webbing or something like that which I'm pretty sure is what blew my last contactor which was only just over a year old. In addition we were able to get it the next day and now my house after 2 and 1/2 days is finally out of the '90s and back in the 70s. In addition to that, and since it's the only thing that changed I noticed that my condenser is running smoother than it ever has before and that's a nice feature.
