Hello! If you would like a paddle that fits into a 1/2" drill, then we suggest our S series. The HF series is designed for our Collomixers and measures 14mm which is .52". Our S series is 10mm which is 3/8" and fits most chucks. Thanks for your question!

Q: What type of container do you use with this to mix concrete? A plastic cement tub? Can you use a 5 gal plastic bucket?

Collomix sells the bucket. I believe they have two sized buckets. I don't see a problem with using it on a regular 5 gal bucket. Look for the Collomix 17GB 17 Gallon mixing tub if you really want to use the right bucket for the job.

Q: What is the shaft size? i am looking for a 7/16" hex that fits milwaukee quik-lok.

Shaft size is a little over 1/2”, 13mm. I managed to fit it into my Milwaukee 1/2”(13mm) compact hole shooter with a Jacobs chuck that I have used for years for mixing plasters and mortars. It is meant to fit Collomix’s Hexafix quick connect and I would only use it in a dedicated mixing machine from now on (which is why I bought a Collomix mixer). It is designed to be used with these way more powerful machines. I easily could have burned out the Milwaukee, as bullet proof as it is. This paddle demands a mixer, not a tool designed to drill holes, it needs too much continuous power to push it through a mortar.

Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. All of our mixing paddles ending in "HF" are designed to fit with our HF Adapter. Our "HF" mixing paddles are too large to fit in a regular drill (they are .52 in), but we do have "S" paddles that are designed to specifically fit a drill. We carry a WK120S (universal mixing paddle), KR120S (paddle for powder materials), LX120S (paddle for Liquids) and FM60S (paddle for paints). The MK paddle that you are inquiring about is for heavy duty mixes and it is something that a drill would not be able to handle. It comes standard with our Xo6 R and that mixer can mix up to 4 - 50 lb bags of material. The WK paddle is the smaller version of the MK and works well with a drill.
