NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Total Control Pro Drop Foundation, Skin-True Buildable Coverage - Cocoa

I love it. It comes in a small bottle and is a bit less than one ounce. Hence the price. I tried the medium olive because I wear N11 in Makeup by Mario and I need a tiny bit of olive in my natural light beige foundation. I wanted to try this because it got good reviews and it’s much more economical than a designer brand. I am blown away. When I saw the packaging I thought ‘oh no, it’s going to be too dark.’ But I was happy it really wasn’t dark at all. I’m still in shock that I got a match on my first try. That said, the color is great! I like that it has a dropper. You should start with just a tiny bit. It’s thin but provides great coverage. It feels oily at first, which doesn’t bother me, but it dries nicely- very natural. Careful, it could get on your counter or clothes if you aren’t paying attention. I will update if I have any issues but so far it’s great! It covers just enough for me to be comfortable. There’s no bad smell either. Far better than other more expensive ones.

It's all about the smooth finish for me when it comes to semi coverage foundation that lasts; I've noticed nyx is an amazing brand without doing too much. The eyedropper allows me to apply with using my hands too much, and I've never enjoyed the pump. The consistency allows for a beautiful level of coverage without being cakey. It blends and sets well to be at it's price point, AND I haven't experienced creasing. It's my new go-to foundation, I have it in my winter and summer shade (I mix the two when needed).

The foundation is fluid, having oily skin I wore it and I liked the result.Shake the product well before use. I have oily skin, it has a matte finish and fades super well. It gives a second skin effect. It is the mocha shade. The coverage is medium and effective .

This foundation goes on like butter. It’s super silky smooth and leaves my skin looking glowy but not oily. I haven’t been able to find it in stores only on Amazon.The color match can be tricky but I’ve found ordering shade light (which has pink undertones) and ordering shade caramel (which is very warm, yellow undertones) and mixing them more or less of one depending on the time of year works great.Its a dropper foundation so you really don’t need much, especially if you’re going for a more natural light to medium coverage. It doesn’t seem like you get much but it lasts a long time if you don’t go super heavy handed.It’s also great for filling in deep pores and I think it helps cover my acne a lot better than other foundations, because it’s such a thin foundation and it’s not emphasizing any bumps I have, just lightly correcting the redness and discoloration.

I’ve always loved this product and used it for many years however since being discontinued it has made me hesitant on buying it. Would be good for beginners learning how to apply and blend foundation though!

The dropper was broken when I opened up the package. Not great for a foundation….

This bottle is small but it doesn't take a lot. The coverage is out of this world. When I say it gave a airbrush look it gave a flawless look!! This is my favorite brand to use and they never disappoint. Oily skin friendly and lasted all day

This product came to me USED! I'm not talking a little bit I'm talking a lot and there are even gross finger marks from it on the person's finger that used it. It looked crusty and old like it had been kept for a while. If you're going to charge me for only .45oz of this product I expect it to be fresh and then use at the very least! The ONLY reason I'm giving this two stars is because the product itself by NYX is the best I've ever used. Like feel and amazing coverage.
