This is a very good choice for cooking. But, it isn’t very good tasting by itself. I made scrambled eggs with it….not good.I use it whenever I need eggs in a recipe. Cannot tell the difference from fresh eggs.Also, I can store it in the pantry and not worry about expiring.

This makes the process of making homemade ice cream so much easier... no need to temper eggs as part of the ice cream making process. I add a little bit of extra whole milk to the recipe and the ice cream still comes out with a very nice smooth and rich texture. You'll want to play a bit with home much of the powder to use in your ice cream recipe depending on the amount of 'eggy' flavor you like in your ice cream, but using this is a wonderful way to speed up making homemade ice cream.

This is the only yolk powder that does NOT contain anything else, just Dried Egg Yolk. Egg Yolk is great for hairball maintenance, because yolk acts as a emulsifier, which breaks up the fat holding a hairball together, and allows the hair to be passed with the stool. If your cat is suffering from hairballs, give 1/4tsp of egg yolk (raw or cooked), 2x a day. If after a few days to a week this does not help, then add in Egg Yolk Lecithin (1 600mg capsule) to one meal a day. The egg yolk lecithin is what breaks up the fat holding the hairball together.Egg yolk is a great way to help make the skin and coat shiny as well! It is full of beneficial fats and high in nutrients.
