Perfect. Just as described.Good quality, smooth, squared, wood boxes. Glued a flat glass mirror onto it and decorated the outer rim with oyster shells. Easy to spray paint. Great project.

These panels were purchased for religious icon painting using mixed media including gold and silver leaf. The consistent quality of the panels, the smooth and precise construction, makes the end result of the paintings all the more special.

These will work for my purposes, but at least three in the package had slight imperfections on them. One had a crack, another one the panel was slightly beveled and not flat, and the third one was discolored. Probably not the best quality either but also not the worst. OK for the price.

I purchased these twice. The first time I was quite impressed so I ordered again. When I received the second order I was disappointed. The quality was lacking, with two of them being damaged beyond use. The wood was peeling off the top and they were buckled. Unfortunately I had a project that was time sensitive and could not wait to reorder or return so I used the ones I could. I will not purchase again.

I was worried about the quality of these given some of the negative reviews and the great price. There was nothing to be worried about! They are great for what they are. I mounted paper-based art on them and it looks professional.

I do encaustic work which means pouring molten wax on these, blasting with a heat gun, scrape, heat, repeat. I put them them through a lot and so far they have held up well. The wood is very lightweight and I was worried that these would be fragile, but even with all the abuse I subject them to, they haven't separated or warped. I'm using the 6 x 6 size, can't vouch for larger sizes.
