I likely didn't need anything this heavy duty, but they were white, look great, and I do have books on the shelves I put up. Installation was more difficult than thought. The hole towards the top is behind the curved brace. To get it completely screwed into a wood stud, I had to use an offset screwdriver for the last quarter of the threads. (not everyone has one of those in their tool chest) In addition, there are some manufacturing variances. The first set that I installed, I used a laser level to line up the screw holes in the brackets. This gave me a shelf the was not perfectly level. The second shelf I had to install the first bracket, and then put the second in place with a shelf on them, level the shelf, and then mark the holes. If the manufacturing tolerances were better, this would not be necessary. Overall, I would buy more if needed. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. When I opened the box I just knew they were going to be spectacular. I put them over my dressing table to hold purses etc but I think they would be beautiful on a kitchen island. The way they are made allows them to be used at two different lengths by flipping them over. Heavy duty and gorgeous.

I used these to replace the large wooden under counter supports that got in the way of the stools and people's knees. These are great. They allow me to position my stools anywhere, without having to be separated by the wooden supports.The top screw in the bracket was a bit difficult to screw in, even with a long screw bit. I ended up using a 90"angle bit attachment, which worked fine.

Removed one star because it’s difficult to screw in the screws that are behind the curve…

OMG, I was a little upset because they did not deliver next day as promised but I got the package the little later that day. there is no enough good things to say, love the brackets, look, feel, finish, quality. wow. they look amazing and will definitely purchase more sets.

You get what you pay for. These are exceptionally strong, but also stylish. They come very nicely packed, and will look great in a highly visible location.

Product is well made, but screws provided to attach the shelf are way too short and unuseable, you will have to purchase longer ones locally

I love the way it makes my open shelves look more n my kitchen.
