As a terrible employee, I love this...
Do you work from home? Are you a lazy piece of human garbage?Do you want your co-workers to think you're working, but you're actually looking at dank memes? The HONKID Lazy Pieceoshitonator 5000 is for you!So effective I actually forgot how to do my job and now I'm living through an existential crisis because I don't think I can survive in the corporate world anymore! 5-stars!Seriously though, the only downside is the rotating wheel is placed at the "bottom" of the device instead of in the middle. Most mouse I've used have the optic dead-center or very close to center. Meaning, when you place your mouse on this device, there's a good chance the mouse laser and the HONKID's spinning wheel wont match up and this thing wont do anything. You have to let your mouse overhang the bottom of the device some to actually get the two components to match up and actually work. This is a problem because the mouse is not in a stable spot and has a tendency to move/shift slightly over time. I've had several times where the mouse moved after a short time and my computer went to sleep without me knowing it for a while. Which not only defeats the whole purpose of this device, but can actually make this thing backfire pretty severely on you and possibly get you in trouble at work. So you need to be very careful...

Customer Service is top Notch
The first one I ordered, the light stopped working. I wrote a review on here stating the product was no good. Seller reached out to me and offered a full refund. Instead I asked for a replacement, which was provided. Hoping this new one lasts longer, but their service is #1.

Two orders. Same failure mode.
As the title says, I got two of these (one as a replacement for the first.) Both of them failed in the same way: turned on, moved the mouse briefly, turned off, and then did not turn on again. This even happened after attempting to toggle the power button. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to move at all. Troubleshooting didn't work. Also, you should be aware that if you work at a company with really good IT/security (generally speaking, ones that are mature enough to have an insider threat program), this CAN be detected. There are programs that can detect when a user moves their mouse without clicking, and in some organizations, window switches may be logged. There are programs that can take screenshots of your screen every X seconds without you ever being made aware of it. The employer is (usually) unlikely to do anything about it in most cases as long as you get your work done and don't have any targets on your back, but don't delude yourself into thinking that these things are truly undetectable. Most organizations are not mature enough to detect them, it is true, but you might work at an exception. Just a word of caution.

HONKID vs EAXBUX Mouse Jiggler
I bought 2 different variations of mouse jigglers to text out for a couple of days time. Both serve the same purpose (prevents your PC/Laptop from entering Sleep Mode) albeit the EAXBUX one has just 1-2 more bells & whistles that ultimately is up to your personal preference.HONKIDPROS: Small in profile compared to it's much bigger space-hog EAXBUX, it was simple to use (plug & play) and got right to work. The disk underneath was detectable to my basic LogiTech wired mouse and moved at a decently consistent pace across the screen with only 1 default speed variation.CONS: However, when the jiggler is in motion, you CAN hear it - it's more of a basic mechanical humming and isn't SUPER loud or distracting, but if your sitting at your desk quietly, you can hear it. This didn't bother me too much as again, it's not loud mechanical whirling, but more of a small hum.EAXBUXPROS: Extremely quiet, instructions for use were simple (if you read to quick guide that comes with it). It has a decently bright light-up notification area at the butt of the base indicating when it's on, when it's in motion, and a countdown timer for when it's going to move again. On the left side is the power button and a Plus & Minus button to adjust the jiggler's pause in-between movements. This didn't feel needed personally, but it gives the user a tiny bit more customization compared to it's competitor. It is WHISPER QUIET. I could not tell it was working until I saw the light indicator & my mouse moving on it. So if you want absolute silence, this one is undetectable.CONS: It's so quiet that you might think it's not working. While this can be a great thing, it moves AT A SNAILS pace. I mean absolutely slow. Compared to the HONKID, it you'd think your mouse detector was actually drifting. I found this a bit concerning considering it's massive size, which is also a con. It's an overall space hog, granted it's a nice design and if you have the extra desk space, but overall it's not feasible for me personally to have this space-hog that's bigger than my basic calculator, on my desk.Overall, I chose the humming wheeled - smaller in profile - HONKID. I can live with the light humming as my PC already does that. And when I'm not at my desk, I can't hear it and I don't plan to sit in my home office in dead silence. If the EAXBUX moved faster then I might've actually kept it even with it's giant profile, but I can't bring myself to keep it if it doesn't jiggle my mouse at a consistently decent pace.

Peace of mind w/ProHance
Remote workers that have the monitoring system or in a zoom meeting and bc you didn't move your mouse it all blacks out, GET THIS!Such piece of mind. You can get you 5-10min coffee break w/out being harassed. Some of us are responsible employees that should we work at an ofc, we'd be able to go to the bathroom or get a coffee break without the monitor harassment. It works, I love it, you're welcome. ツ
