Ultimate Sashiko Sourcebook: Patterns, Projects and Inspirations

What a lovely book! Well-written, lots of information and projects. I love the way the author uses different colors in the instructions for different stitches, so you can see exactly where the lines go. By the way, the print version is SO much nicer than the kindle version. You really want to hold this beautiful book in your hands, so you can see the photos full-size.

This was my second book on sashiko, the first, Simply sashiko being the first (great for beginners). I was worried about repition, but there was little! These patterns are a bit more advanced but very well explained and easy to follow. I am very happy with this book

Me gustó el libro, es fácil de entender aunque no entiendas bien el inglés.

I bought this book as I was interested to learn about Sashiko and perhaps do some myself. It is very clearly written, very informative and has great pictures showing you about stitches, projects etc. Would recommend if you are interested in Sashiko.

Ho acquistato questo libro per poter continuare nell’apprendimento del ricamo Sashiko e devo dire che ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Il testo è molto chiaro ed esaustivo e spiega in maniera semplice tutto ciò che può essere spiegato con le parole e le foto: storia, materiali, tecnica, schemi. Per imparare i corretti movimenti delle mani e’ invece necessario poter vedere un ricamatore/trice all’opera (io ho sopperito con un corso in video tenuto da un ricamatore giapponese). Per il resto il libro è molto valido e offre un prezioso supporto all’apprendimento.
