Valore VS-1205 Retrofit Easy Install Shower Panel

I just finished installation. Easy install, I took my time and about an hour to gather tools, install and put all the tools back where they belong in my shop. Instructions are very straight forward, but a couple recommendations. First the list drill bit as 6.5mm that is not correct. You will need a 9/32 drill bit to drill holes for shower wall anchors. Second do not pre-cut the hose that goes to the shower neck hook-up. Install everything then temporarily screw on the shower elbow and then mark your cut to keep the hose nice and straight without a ton of slack. I found once mounted I had no movement side to side, not sure if they changed the width of the mounts to fit snugger as I read several reviews stating that there was movement...I did not experience that at all. The instructions also mention that the fitting to the shower neck should not stick out more than 5/8”. Mine stuck out 3/4 inch and was not an issue with the cover. I did add some silicone to the cap to keep in place, but I did not silicone the unit to the shower as I liked the ability to lift it off the mounts to clean behind the unit if that ever becomes necessary.How does it perform: great! Nice pressure and it seem that it can spray two things at a time. There is a noticeable click between settings. As a reference I have 75psi water pressure at my house. Very pleased and it looks great. I have a new Dreamline enigma air frameless shower door being installed next week and this shower panel has given the shower a nice contemporary look and upgrade. I will update over time if I have any issues.Oh one last comment, when I was shopping I was also considering the Ankdy panel. The comments on the Ankdy unit said there was no cover over the back of the shower head. This unit is nicely covered!Cheers and happy showering!

Cheap and easy way to upgrade a shower. The only issue was that the printing for the shower knob dial was weak. Time will tell about the Quality of the material.

What a great new shower head, cost was $50 less than I could find anyware.easy to install, works great, like the options, sprayer, hand held and rain shower head. If adding to a showerand on off handel is high, 2 sprayers are high and can't adjust low enough for a person shorter than 5'10",would work for someone tall. really Love the unit !!!! very pleased with buying it !!

I made a mistake reviewing this product. I thought I was reviewing something else so I gave it a good rating which it didn't deserve. Unfortunately, the Valor shower spa will not stick to the tile even though I followed the directions carefully. It fell off twice. Also the "stainless steer" is definitely not stainless---fingerprints turn black. I returned it.

Design is nice and works ok. however, after 1 1/2 years it is already leaking when turned all the way off, it may be due to the internal valve or another component.

The primary hose that connects the unit to the intake water pipe burst on the first use. We were able to find a replacement at the big box store and installed it. TWhen we turned on the shower we noticed the very attractive shower hand wand was leaking where the flexible hose connected to the handle. At first we thought there was a rubber washer missing. No such luck. The threaded plastic insert that connects the hose to the handle had a gap in it allowing the water to leak out. There is no way to disassemble this without destroying the shower hand wand. Overall this unit is just crap.

I bought this for a bathroom addition and let me tell you I have received SO many compliments and people thought I paid hundreds of dollars. It had to be mounted higher than normal but it just made the water flow better. Having a shower is so relaxing. Best purchase.

Good installation instructions - written and video. Good quality. Good water pressure in all three settings but not adequate if you attempt to set the dial midway and have water come from two sources. I should note that although someone in another posting found fault with the hand spray, I am happy with it. We have ordered another for our guest bathroom.
