Very sturdy

I bought this pooper scooper and was greatly disappointed. The scoop is not securely attached to the handle, and the top of the spade is not well-constructed. Using the rating system, I thought this product would be much better and last a long time. My mistake! Just don't make the same mistake that I did. Money thrown down the toilet.

The thing I like best about this set is the length of the handles. No more bending down while scooping. I am old and have a bad back and this is just perfect for me. We had two big dogs and it will get a lot of use. Can a poop scooper be perfect...yes it can.

The wood stakes have a heavy plastic handle at the top which makes them hard to maneuver as the counterbalance is off relative to the scoop part; with or without a load. I was perfectly happy with the unadorned handles and they worked well. Adding heavy handles is NOT an improvement.

Truly a labor saving device

I've had mine for 15 years and it's still in perfect condition. AND it's been through 12 dogs!I bought this one for a friend. They're more expensive but absolutely worth it!
