Bluetooth 5.0 Car Adapter with AptX HD for Audi MMI 3G AMI Music Interface, Audi Symphony Concert, Mercedes Media Interface and VW MDI

So compared to the other Bluetooth adapters this one ACTUALLY works and doesn’t need to be disconnected and connected again for the adapter to turn on. As you can see in the pictures my S4 has the Audi concert system which doesn’t allow to play music though Bluetooth. As shown in the pictures the track name, and the time being play work just fine. The music also gets really loud and that wasn’t even max volume. I will update this later onAlso the “skip song” feature doesn’t work and it will freeze the adapter and you will need to replug it for it to work again.Update: So the adapter has extremely long range (for some reason), and it’s always on so when you turn off the car the adapter stays on but it glitches so it’s constantly connecting to your phone so it’s annoying when I’m trying to use my airpods around my house.

I use this for my Audi 2010 A4. For a while, I’ve been using the Anker FM transmitter to play music through Bluetooth. It worked great, but was usually intercepted by other radio frequencies since I live in the city. So, I gave this product a shot. The sound quality is incomparable to my previous FM Transmitter. I wish I’ve gotten this sooner.Fairly straight forward installation. Plug it in to your 30-pin and wait for it to synchronize. If it is not plugged in correctly (or is loose) it might recognize the phone, but not play music. Just reconnect the cables and the sound should come on.I highly recommend this product to anyone that owns a Audi B8 with MMI 3G. You won’t regret it!

Bought it almost a year ago never had an issue with it disconnecting from my 2010 Audi. Only problem I do have is skipping songs. If you want to skip a song using your cars buttons you have to wait a couple seconds or it will play the previous song.

So… I as many have done already began my search bcs I purchased my Audi A5 used and the individual who owned it before me took the MMI Bluetooth receiver out of the car 🤨 I started my search by calling my local Audi dealer….ummmmm NO THANKS!!…Pricing was RIDICULOUS but I kinda expected that…right? Well after that I looked blindly through the internet for this component and found about 100 options (or so it seemed)…differences being in size, shape, color… you name it. Never sure if it would work at all or if it was of decent quality I decided to proceed with my search through Amazon (as I can always send it back if it’s the wrong fit or of poor quality) and found this unit priced right in the middle of others with the very same promise of performance but with above average reviews… I no more plugged it into the MMI port in my glove compartment (as pictured) and then paired it with my BT on my iPhone 13 ProMax and BAM!! Good to go! I’ve had this unit working beautifully now for 6 months… Never fails… Connects immediately!!It picks up audio/song/podcast right where it left off previously each time like clockwork…love It!!!!Do not kick around trying something else…this is the REAL DEAL at 1/3 the dealer cost!!

I’ve purchased this item a couple of times, and it never seems to last. My most recent purchase lasted only 3 months before it stopped working. Unfortunately, it’s now past the return window, so I’m stuck with it. Very disappointed with the durability.

**editing my review**The comments below are still true, HOWEVER, their customer service has been INCREDIBLE! They have been in touch with me twice to try resolve the issue. At the end of the day, they are sending me a compatible device. I will probably upgrade to 5 stars once the new device is tried and tested.———————2011 Admittedly, this may be a compatibility issue, however for ME, this didn’t work. I plugged it into the connector in the glove box as the instructions state then paired my phone without ANY problems. Music played fine for 2 minutes then the device lost connection with the car. Phone still paired. See pics. Also, music info wasn’t displayed on the radio.

Was looking at buying the more expensive Bonvee unit, but after reading up on it and learning of some potential issues with new iOS updates I decided to give this a try. Installation takes under a minute, I have mine in a 2011 S63 AMG (W221 S-Class).Works great, passes the album name and song name (although not the artist) to the display. Can control from the steering wheel and command center control. And it was less expensive than the Bonvee unit!

Absolutely love this! Sounds great, connects as soon as you start the car. It was a little difficult getting it in and out but well worth the price!
