This is AMAZING. It's BETTER than I even expected ! It holds my thick, heavy, leather-bound bible perfectly !! Easy to turn pages . The clasps rotate easily. Because of the adjustable angle, it holds the book firmly, and yet the claps are not tight against the pages and they rotate easily to turn pages.. IT WAS DESIGNED WITH PERFECTION !! I've searched for something like this for years. Nothing I bought worked. It's a God send !! I recommend getting the light clip with it . The light is attractive, sturdy & lightweight . (Quality.) It works with batteries (OR plug-in.) When I don't need the light with the book, I use it elsewhere. It can be clamped on my laptop, etc...anywhere I need light (dark closet, etc.) If power goes out in a storm, it's more useful than a flashlight. I very rarely write a review, but THIS product deserves the praise !!!

I was once an avid reader and sought after book reviewer. And then it was like I lost interest, I can’t say why. I very much have had a desire to get back to it.So this weekend I sat down with a book I purchased a few months back and I knew it cover topics I am interested in. Well, it captured my attention and kept, but I realized that I didn’t like hold the books so I found a way to prop it up with hand weights to hold the pages back.So I went a an Amazon hunt, because I was sure that there were devices to hold books…I found this one and it’s perfect. As the evening has descended on us, I turned the lights on and it’s perfect for a little more reading before I go to bed.I have several books that I want to read and more that will be coming my way. This device is going make my reading an enjoyable experience again.I see that it can also hold cellphones and tablets which will coming in handy as a promotional designer and registered press.I recommend this to anyone that is seeking a device to hold a book or tablet. I love this stand, but it has a major flaw for me (which may be because I use it laying down sideways or at like a 130 degree angle). The issue for me is that the arms slide around a lot and don’t hold my book in very well when laying sideways. BUT there’s a fix! I put electric tape on the sliders and they are now really tough to move (move enough when I need it) and stays put really well. I did two layers and it was great, but then I had to take it off for travel and when I reassembled I did one later and it’s not as great but still works. I’d recommend two layers.

Last night after studying this law book for hours I nearly threw my back out. I was literally in the worst pain ever. Keep in mind law books are heavy so there's no way I can hold it up or read it while sitting on the couch or bed.Just 5 minuites ago I set this book up on the stand and I still have probably 6 more inches in length left for the stand to extend to. Second, this book is 2 inches thick and i still have about .5-1 more inch of space that the stand arms can extend to.Third, the build quality. DO NOT force anything otherwise it will break just like anything else. The build quality is spectacular. It has joint mechanisms that lock and with this book that easily weighs around 5-8 pounds it can support it.I suppose since its made of plastic and wood it can't withstand you forcing the arms to go around the book. So just take your time to inspect each of the arms carefully. At first it may seem like the arms will not fit around the book but there's actually a spring loaded system that will allow you to pull the arm out in both width and height. I didn't realize that there's a spring that allows you to adjust to the thickness of the book but that's not the fault of the product but rather me bending the life out of the arm. Be gentle and inspect the part thoroughly when unboxing to understand how to use it.The light. Its VERY bright. I'm not sure why someone complained about it being not bright. CLICK IT TWICE. If you click the light button twice it gets 2x brighter than the first setting... and you get two of them instead of just one... and each one is adjustable instead of fixed in a single spot.Overall 10/10 great product. Please don't stop making them i will surely keep buying them.

This is an excellent product. It came with two sets of book holders, one for smaller books and one for larger books, which you can easily switch out depending on the book size. I am using it to hold a big book which it holds solidly. There is a button to push so you can move the adjustable stand leg. It also came with a book light which uses three AAA batteries (not included).

The media could not be loaded. I can't find my previous 5 star review to edit,hmmm. Anyway book stand is great but after 5 weeks the lights start to flash. First one then the other. Idk why companies keep making these cheap led lights they never work for very long. EVERY SINGLE ONE bought from Amazon has done this exact same thing
