Pretty and works well.
Good floatation device. Very pretty. I wish it had a bottom strap though so I could tighten it from lifting above my daughter’s shoulders in water. Still would buy again.

Strap is too rough
This served the purpose of keeping my granddaughters head above water. But the crotch strap really needs a soft coating on it. It rubbed her raw to the point of bleeding, from one brief use. It’s a delicate area and the strap is too stiff and rough. I know it needs to be strong, but a soft coating is needed to protect children’s delicate skin. Apparently a swim suit is not enough coverage. She might need to wear shorts over her swimsuit for protection from the strap.

Never thought to purchase a life vest before, but better safe than sorry. Best money I’ve spent. Took up about an inch and a half of space in the suitcase for our trip to Hawaii, but it was worth it. Was used twice over there and twice since we’ve returned home. It allowed my 6 year old to venture out into the ocean with me and the rest of our family and not worry about the fact she can’t really swim. She got to enjoy the waves and splash around. Back at home, it kept her safe while enjoying river time while dad had his hands full with baby sister.

Ok, but beware the leg strap!!!!!!
This life vest was ok for the money. I needed something quick for our trip to the beach so our 5 (almost 6) year old could boogie board. I ordered the child size because it said 30-50lbs. She's 42lbs. This was VERY short on her, but that was fine. I just needed it to keep her head above the water if something happened. But once on the beach, we used the leg strap, so that it didn't slide up her neck, but it gave her a TERRIBLE rash!!! Both legs. One leg was bad enough it bled! I plan to go ahead and save this for my younger daughter (because it won't fit my older one for our next trip), but I WONT use the leg strap or I will make sure to put shorts on her before we put on the life jacket to protect her skin.
