Great value
I've only hung this up inside so far to personalize the setup with my own whoopie slings and ridge line, and in my yard to test the setup, and I love that this kit is so modular and that the bug net isn't attached to the hammock. I live in the deep south and have been skeptical of attached bug nets- my backside needs protection from mosquitoes too! I can't wait to bring it out for real and give it a good test, but I can say that the hammock alone is incredibly comfortable and I've slept in it inside several times. There is ONE thing I don't like, and I appreciate the creators trying to solve a particular problem, but I find the hook and loop straps on the hammock to be very uncomfortable and rough on my skin. I cut all my straps off (VERY carefully) and trimmed the hard edges that I couldn't fully remove and it's better, but I feel like this is the thing that will eventually cause me to buy another hammock. I'm particular about my gear and my comfort. My husband is but bothered by the straps at all. I should also say that I'm not a backpacker-I'm a car camper and a short hike camper- so weight is not an issue, but everything packs down nicely which is helpful even for car camping.Anyway, I'm incredibly pleased and I've shared this product with everybody I know because I'm so impressed and I want all my friends to come out into the woods with me!

Exceded my expectations
Took this on a 3 day hiking/fishing trip this past weekend and im very impressed. First pro is its compact in a water proof bag that fits perfect in my pack along with my clothes, camel pack and other gear. Next comes the gear itself. The hamock held up just as well as my eno and is easily repacked. The straps also held up well and seem on par with my eno straps. It rained halfway through the second day well into the next morning and the rain fly kept myself and my gear dry the whole time and was easy to set up and repack. As for the bug net, the only complaints I have would be the two ends dont close as tight as i had hoped but thats easily fixed with a couple small pieces of paracord. The zipper on one side also sticks a little when zipping it up.I will update after more testing and use if problems arise. Cant wait to get more use out of thisOverall I would definitely recommend this. This package from other brands would easily cost several hundred dollars. I would 100% buy more of their products

Durability.
We like it so far, we haven’t trying out doors yet. But it looks perfect. We did a few modifications on the net and cut the bags that came in with. But I really like how it feels.

Seems to be good quality
I haven’t tested the product in the elements yet. That being said—upon delivery and inspection, the product seems to be of good quality. Sturdy materials, reinforced stitching, nice aluminum components. I can’t wait to use it on my kayak camping trips this summer along the sandbars of the Satilla river.

High quality kit at a very reasonable price
I don’t usually write reviews on many products, but I felt this kit deserved it. I had been shopping around looking for a camping hammock and realized how quickly cost can add up when getting everything you actually need. This kit contains everything needed except for an under quilt. If you are going to be using any hammock in under 60 degree weather, you’ll want an under quilt.I am 6’2” and 240lbs. This hammock was super sturdy and I never felt like it wouldn’t hold me. I even sat in it with my friend I went camping with who is 6’ 225lbs to test the strength and felt no signs of strain. I used this camping in 30 degree weather in the Virginia mountains and, along with an under quilt, slept like a baby. The kit recommends finding trees 12-15’ apart and I would recommend going closer to the 12’ distance for the straps included or it does add a little tension to the hammock. Still sleeps well, but a little less comfortable sitting of the fabric is pulled too tight. The tree straps and carabiners included were also very good quality. I was happy with the rain fly which was also high quality. The lines used to secure the tarp are bright and reflective which is awesome once it gets dark so you aren’t tripping or taking your head out walking around the camp site in the dark. I didn’t really need the bug liner since it was 30 degree weather, but I installed it just to see how it was used. It slides over the whole hammock and has zippers on both sides for easy entrance/exit. Seemed to be high quality just like everything else. One of my favorite features with this kit is the included roll top waterproof dry bag. Also high quality and durable and large enough to fit everything included in this kit. I challenge you to find another kit of this quality for a better price. They put a lot into this. If you’re looking for a start up kit to go hammock camping, quit looking and buy this. You will not be disappointed. Great Job Cushy Camper.

Great little set up!
Let me begin by saying I had extreme high hopes to try this gear out. For the price, I was expecting something a lot less durable. With that being said I didn't receive all the items in the description.... I was missing the most key part for starters, The Hammock. not having that or the rain fly kinds made the rest of the kit useless. lucky me, as I have other hammocks and another rain fly. the straps were great the wet bags bottom fell apart almost as soon as I got into the woods but I'm rough on gear. For those that are looking for something worth the price this stuff is pretty awesome.. (Again this review is based off of the pieces I did receive.) Update: This company is awesome! Thier customer care handled the issues I had flawlessly! Even better they fix thier mistake and helped me receive a full kit! Again I'm not displeased with buying from this company and will surely do so again... ( I'll adjust the review when I receive the rest of the items.) I'm sure this company can only come up from here though!

Algonquin Park - Interior Camping
Took my new hammock recently to Algonquin park interior camping on (2) different trips. Sleeping comfort was excellent. I purchased this unit due to the larger rain fly then other brands. Got down to 6 degrees one night on my first trip and was cold even with thermal blanket under me. Purchased under-quilt before next trip and found it alot better on cold nights. Only down side was couldn't use my bed pad as it tended to keep my feet above under-quit and they got cold. Overall enjoyed sleeping in it rather then on the ground. Make sure you have dry sacks for storing clothes below rain fly cause heavy rain you will get flooding on your gear otherwise. Be prepared to bring limited stuff (ipads, books etc.) with you to bed cause you have limited storage once in the hammock. Would have been great to sew a couple of extra storage pockets on the side of the hammock and not only have the pack bag as an option.

6 days in the Temagami backcountry
My wife and I did 6 days canoeing and portaging in the backcountry of Temagami with these hammocks instead of our usual Hillary tent. Both hammocks combined were about the same weight at the 4 man tent but we didn't need mattresses or pillows so we definitely saved on space and weight. The hammocks were a breeze to put up. Most nights we didn't bother with the rain fly and slept with only the hammock and bug net. We ended up getting caught in the rain in open water and got soaked. We set the rain flys up when we got to a campsite in just a few minutes and had a nice dry place to shelter. On the nights we were expecting rain we assembled them completely and let me tell you they kept us dry as well as the gear we stored under the fly, as well as our pooch. The bug nets worked flawlessly. The only bugs who got inside did so while we were getting into them. This is a big deal if you have ever dealt with the flying biting insects up in Northern Ontario. I have zero complaints about these hammocks. We aren't going back to tent camping any time soon.
