No-brainer upgrade
Perfect 6E upgrade for a laptop or desktop that doesn't have a wi-fi card or has an older, slower wi-fi card. I plugged this into the M.2 slot of my refurbished Dell desktop that didn't come with a wi-fi card originally. Windows instantly recognized the card and installed all the drivers. The Intel website also recognized the card and provided driver updates for both wi-fi and Bluetooth. Wi-fi is blazing fast, noticeably faster than my old laptop's ax wi-fi card. Since my desktop didn't come with wi-fi originally, I also had to order the antenna and cables to plug into this card. B08DHH228L (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DHH228L) was the perfect solution for my Dell mini. Connecting the tiny MHF connectors to the card was tricky, but once connected everything worked like a champ. For the money, this card is a no-brainer if you need to upgrade your wi-fi, have the proper M.2 slot, and don't need the latest wi-fi 7.

[UPDATED] Install was a snap, card works well
Upate:I haven't figured out what happened, but since I wrote the original review my network speeds have changed from 10-15% faster than my old adapter, to 75-80% faster! Almost twice as fast! Did I do my original test on a bad WiFi day? Maybe so but I'm even happier now than I was before! I would add a star if I could.Original Revew:Got this to upgrade the RealTek WiFi card that came in my laptop. Install was quick and easy (they even give you a screwdriver). I used a USB WiFi adapter to download and install the two drivers (WiFi and BlueTooth), should have downloaded them ahead of time but I wanted to see if Windows was smart enough to get the drivers on its own (which it wasn't so be warned). Signal strength is very good, lots of adjustable options in the device's "Advanced" page that I'll probably never need to tweak but it's nice that they're there. My WiFi connection at home is testing at about 10-15% faster according to Speedtest, the card is *definitely* worth the price.

best card for wifi 6e
this is THE standard wifi 6e card. linux does very well with it and I assume all others do too.remove your own mediatek BS card and put this one in, instead. all the syslog errors that you saw from MT* will go away.its only $20. and its the standard for 6e. I've not had any issues with any of them that I bought (all linux, though).

Item received was defective. No wifi, bluetooth worked.
I dislike receiving junk made in China that does not work.
