It's a welding rod not a brazing rod!
This is a welding rod. It is primarily made with steel. It is NOT a brazing rod. My fault for not reading the detailed description. Giving them 5 stars because they are fine gas welding rods.

This is not a brazing rod.
This product was titled to be a brazing rod. It is definitely not. Amazon made a big mistake here. These rods are probably very good welding rods and the package is labeled to be welding rods. This product is made of iron. Brazing rods are typically made of brass or possibly copper. 5 pounds of real brazing rods should cost over $100. I think if Amazon wants to be fair with me, they should have allowed me to exchange this product for 5 pounds of real brazing rods at no extra charge to me.

Good value for thses rods for the amount received
Good value for the price. Glad I bought 5 pounds of these copper rods. Can be used for all sorts of projects. They came if a nice hard plastic container that screws apart in the middle.
