Perfect fit and function to replace the factory part

Control panel just arrived today. Perfect fit for my '99 Crew Cab carryover bodystyle Chevy truck.Main reason I replaced it was because I had pretty much trashed the brittle original when removing it to add a double din head unit.Plugged new one up with some trepidation based on the reviews.The fan worked on all speeds. The recycle and AC lights worked. Bonus!Looks just like OEM part. The speed knob has a more pronounced click than the original. All vent settings work better than with the old unit, which was unexpected. I thought I would have to replace other parts, but this seems to have fixed it.If it keeps working, I'll call it a win.Will update if any problems arise.

One more to the long list of parts that suck . They last just long enough to get outside the return / replace window . Quantity over quality , whatever it takes to add to Bezos’s fortune from the pockets of the working class via the Dollar General of online shopping . I know why the buy again option comes up so fast .
