It came with a kit to attach the cord to the motor so that was helpful. Instructions are minimal but if see how kit is assembled, it’s mostly straight forward. The biggest thing to pay attention to is the double tube plug portion. White wire goes on the notched side and you have to make sure the double tube is not flipped around.The way I did it, I cut the cord near the connection and pulled it out. Removed the two torx screws holding down the cord. Got needle nose pliers to unscrew the bushing and then pulled out the cord like a plug in a socket. Used the old assembly as a guide for reassembly

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. I thought I was just buying the replacement cord, but it also includes the seals that keep water out of the electrical connections, and a few other parts that might need to be changed when installing the new cord. Made the job easy and now my pool's robotic cleaner is back in business!

This was a good Price on Hayward OEM Robotic Pool Cleaner Control Cord. The cord was shipped quickly and was well packaged in a Hayward box. I was pleased to see the two terminal connectors were attached to the cord, but I do wish a cord connector had been included with the cord, as well. I would have paid extra for the cord connector. The reason is the already installed terminal connectors are barbed like fish hooks. They are difficult to remove from the cord connector without damage occurring. Including a cord connector takes care of this. As it was, I ordered a cord connector from a different vendor for $6.00, delaying installation of the replacement cord and use of the pool cleaner for a week.
