Never able to use it
Instructions were in broken English. Someone obviously translating as best they could and they were understandable. Charging adapter was flimsy. DC power cord was a loose fit and I had to hold in place with rubber bands to get charging light to stay on. Once fully charged, about 80 mins, the lights on the heli worked, but nothing else. Fresh batteries in the remote were checked and swapped. Good battery meter and signal to the heli, but no response. Rotors never turned. I have the smaller version and the controller feels right. This one just feels cheap. Two of the trim buttons don't actually move or do anything I could tell with it not able to fly. Small directional pad in lower left is also just molded plastic fake. Rotor power toggle doesn't have a spring and doesn't return to zero when released, as is the case with the smaller version (which has very nice rebound). Very disappointed after having so much fun with smaller version. Boxed it up for return. Happy Father's Day...

LOST IN THE WOODS.
My first flight was in my house. For a big double prop this Helicopter turns on a dime and is lots of fun to fly. I decided to take it outside the next morning, it was a windless day so I started gaining altitude. This thing climbs like a Champ, problem is it has very little forward momentum. ( VERY LITTLE ) It was almost to the top of my neighbors tall pine tree and it would not come back to me so I brought it up over the tree it drifted to the next pine tree and I had to bring it up to clear it. It had no problem climbing but forward & reverse controls are almost worthless. The battery sets right in the middle of the heli. The last I saw it was about 2.5 blocks and looked like a helium bloom heading for the stratosphere. I set the control for a slow decline and went to work. I live in the woods were it's almost impossible to find something like a lost RC Heli. It's a nice helicopter but don't fly it outside unless your in a big open area.

Total Beast
This thing is great, a complete beast of a helicopter. I have four smaller Syma helicopters as well as the mid-sized S113G Apache. This is by far the most difficult to fly of all of the them. That doesn't mean it's not fun to fly; on the contrary, it's quite fun. But you need a decent amount of space. In my NYC apartment, this thing launches across the room instantaneously and you're already at a wall or other obstacle, so it's really just trying to keep it from crashing into something. It doesn't really hover in place like the S113G, but constantly wants to move forward. So in a tight space, it can be challenging to fly for a length of time without a crash. Fortunately, it has held up to crashes fairly well, and it comes with replacement rotor blades. Also, the downwash is quite significant, and it deflects off walls which sends it hurling in various directions. I also tried it in a big backyard with only very light breezes and it was a blast to fly. I flew it 70-80 feet from me and still had good control. When a breeze picked up, it did struggle to fly into the headwind but it could, albeit slowly. I would say if you have a good sized yard (with little to no breeze) or a great room with cathedral ceilings, this would work well. It's quite powerful and it's fun to fly 25-30 feet high as well as skim along about a foot above the grass. I rate it 4 of 5 stars for the lack of good hovering capability, as well as poorly designed trim buttons that are difficult to quickly use before your Chinook careens off into in a wall.

A Cool Copter Came With A Bad Motor
I have other Syma copters I have had no problems with, but unfortunately this one was defective right out of the box. The unit has four motors, one for each set of blades. The lower rear motor on my unit cut out with no warning on the very first flight. I suppose I could order a replacement motor and try and replace it, but I am just not that handy. I am sad because it is a really cool design and the 30 seconds of flight before the motor cut out was great. It handles really well - just not on three motors :-(

Good Quality Products
My husband was very pleased with this helicopter. He has a gray Chinook from a previous order. We thought that we were getting the one that was shown in the advertisement on line like the one above but the gray one was sent. He wanted the other color to add to his vast collection but he decided to keep it. Now he has two gray Chinooks. He loves the quality of your products and really enjoy flying. Thank you for the joy that you give my husband.

Replaces the S022. Great upgrade
I had (and crashed) the s022 Chinook large size and Ioved it but it was hard to fly. Turned out that it had a bad moter (1 of 4) and that caused lots of problems. Amazon took it back (even after the 90 days) and I got this one. Same basic product but it is a world of difference in flying. You will not be sorry to buy this. You still need to have a basic understanding and skills at flying remote control helicopters but this one is easy to learn from. Thank you Amazon!UPDATE: The charger balance box (not the one that plugs into the wall) is a problem, if the battery does not charge or takes to long replace the box (the one with the lights on it), do not leave it charging overnight they can overheat.

Crap
Manufacturer never helped me when the front propeller was not turning due to no connection to the engine. They actually expected me to fix it. Broke the first day I got it. No crash nothing, it just stopped working. Never buy from them again.

glued in the windshield and were good to go
2nd rc ive ever had, the udi u10 the 1st. It is a beast! The thing goes so high you almist lise sight of it. This thing turns on a dime. The only thing is the charger...you have about a 1/2 inch of wire..not enough...it does charge fast and holds a charge for a ling time. Its tough..I did crash it from about 100 ft..head first...broke the windshield...the whole thing is put together with screws..I took the whole thing apart...glued in the windshield and were good to go..actually it now looks like it took a couple of incomming rounds thru the windshield! Lol! If its windy....forget abiut it...just like any other heli the same size. I do love it. I recently have heard it kinda sliw down in rpm...then kick in..I believe it due to my prop bkades are beat up..I ordered a set..I would recommend that. I have a video im posting on utube..look for it..its called syma34 skybound. Thanks
