I love Chuck’s and I love purple - so I had to get these - submitted photo so folks with question about sizes could see what arrived based on what I ordered. So - even though the color is “Icon Violet” which sounds like a women’s color choice maybe...these are sized for men - or - “unisex” sized - so I ordered a Size 6, because I wear a women’s size 8. When the Add to Cart moves it to your Shopping Cart it does say Women’s Converse and when you receive your sneakers, your box says it too, but you do receive your correct women’s size, if you order it the way I did. Men’s size in Converse is typically 2 sizes smaller than women’s size. Anyhow, the color is a rich, deep purple and the Star is like a deep fuschia color. I had a different color purple Chucks that I wore in the river this summer and they were pretty well worn out anyhow, so I was glad to replace them. Very happy with these.

I used to wear these when I was a kid in the '50's and the last pair I remember having was sometime in the '80's about which time I sailed south to a latitude where the butter melts and the honey don't crystalize and I pretty much quit wearing shoes. But now I'm old and and back where it's cold so I got me another pair: it's like being able to buy a brand new model T which I think these great shoes even predate!

I love Chucks. Great for strength training because they are not pitched forward like a running or walking shoe. I also love this utility green color, and particularly the color of the All Star emblem.Getting the right size was a challenge here. The product is unisex, with a conversion of +/- 2 sizes between mens and womens. On the product page it says they are mens shoes (and sizes). On the order page it says they are womens. They are in fact mens sizes. But this inconsistency, present across vendors, needs to be addressed..

She loves them. Regarding the “men” vs “women” wording change when moved to cart... ordered Men 6 and, yes, received Men 6 regardless of fact name changed to Women 6 in the cart. Also, she wears anything from 8-9 in most shoes... 8s for summer, 9s for thicker socks. Men6/Women8 in these old Chuck Taylors which she wears with thin socks. So, the Men6/Women8 is running consistent for Women8 (summer sock).

I'm a woman and I wear 8 in women, I ordered 6 in these sneakers after reading the reviews from other customers and since it is a men's sneaker. my feet is on the wide side and I think I made the right decision, I wore it for a couple of hours and it was okay, I got a lot of compliments. I love the color it matched with my shirt as the dress code was purple.

Literally started peeling the rubber day two of owning them, would never buy again. Go to the converse website.

The shoes are as expected. Great size, color and look.

I'm with mixed feelings about these Converse - on the one one hand, they look really good and are well made, received them in perfect condition. On the other hand, they don't seem like real Converse, although they check all the boxes when it comes to details- the blue color of the star, the stitches, the scripts, the lines on the sides, even the label and the barcode on the inside of the tongue are real. But somehow the compound of the sole, the rubber material and the canvas look cheap. I can't understand if they are perfect imitation of the originals or Converse have lowered their quality standards. Hope that the shoes will last for long time, I will test them really hard this summer 😆

No me ha gustado el producto y lo he devuelto. Las zapatillas que yo recibí, no eran originales. En el talón, la O de Converse no lleva la estrella dentro, característica de autenticidad, la que debe de estar en la O de dentro de la plantilla, tampoco! Y en la suela debe de estar el número de talla y tampoco!!! Siempre se ha sabido que estas 3 características son para diferenciarlas de las buenas imitaciones. Las que he recibido, no llevan ninguna de las 3, aunque en las fotografías de las descripciones si que estan! No dudo de que otras personas hayan recibido autenticas.

Me llegaron muy rápido para venir desde Alemania y en perfectas condiciones. Las Converse son muy bonitas y cómodas. Yo uso la talla 38 pero no la tenían así que las compré en la 37.5 y como son amplias me quedan perfectas.

No son las originales no aparece la estrella en la o de converse ni la talla en la suela, creía que Amazon no vendía productos que no eran originales, me han decepcionado, he iniciado la devolución .
