Love this fixture. Installation was not too difficult. If you’re looking for a bright light fixture this would not work for you. It’s a soft light bit since I have other lights in my dining room it works well.

This is a gorgeous product and the shade appears to be pretty well made, but my complaints about the product have to do with the difficulty of installation. If you are having a professional electrician do this, just buy the darn thing. You won't regret it. It delivers a lovely spectrum of light through the shade and it even looksqm quite decent when it's off.I've installed a lot of light fixtures, and I'm not terribly daunted by the prospects of poking around in old work boxes in an ancient house. This fixture was particularly daunting and probably the hardest thing I've ever installed, but not because of the idiosyncratic or old wiring, just rather the fact that the instructions are horrific and the installation necessitates either having more than two hands, having a scaffold or some sort of attachment for a ladder to hold the parts, and, of course, zero customer service to boot (The vendor page linked to a medical company that makes crutches-- no clue why).Before you get to the shade part, you have to thread all of the wiring (L, N, G) through not one or two, but several holes-- first, the cap nut thing that goes on top of the actual lamp part; second, the medallion piece from which the chains will hang the lampshade on the finished product; third, a disappoingly cheap nylon bushing; fourth, The circular cap piece that is meant to flush up against the box, and fifth, finally, the sorta threaded bolt that goes through this cap piece.I ended up not being able to run the ground through so that had to be jerry-rigged, but I did get the rest of the wires into it. The problem is that this just requires a bunch of things to be done while you are holding some of these heavy parts. It is also a giant pain to have to tie wiring together in such a tight space. There are any number of other ways to do this. An easy way would be to make a push-fit connector of some sort that allows you to install it in sections, so you can wire the actual electrical part before you attach any of the other parts. The threaded parts are super annoying because they are either not the right length, or they attach in a weird sequence that makes it super inconvenient. Note in my one picture that, even threading the long rod that goes through the lampshade itself into the base of the lighting fixture part, it still is too long. I don't have a cutoff saw so I can't trim it. But this is a thoroughly obnoxious design element.Last complaint about the installation is that the chain that they give you is insanely long, and while this is a common setup, they don't exactly give you a good way to shorten it. You will need something like bolt cutters to cut the chain, although you can usually loop a little bit of length back.

Beautiful

The color of the lamp is not really blue. It is more of a green, brown and purple color. The craftsmanship of the lamp is very nice. It really looks striking. One thing I do not like is that the chains are a bit slack. This is because the down rod near the lamp is about an inch too short to allow for proper adjustment. Too bad as this could have been a very nice piece. The other issue with the lamp is that it is very difficult to level. This might be due to the slack chains though.If the company sends me a longer threaded down rod so I can properly install the light I will revise this review. For now 3 stars it gets.Edit: I was able to extend the threaded rod that the glass sits on by one inch. I bought a 1” piece of threaded rod and a coupler in the lighting section at home depot. Screwed this onto the lamp rod that was too short. This allowed the glass to sit lower and take up the slack in the chains. Now the lamp sits level and is supported by both the chains and threaded rod.

This is my favorite Tiffany-style light yet! The various shades of blue and green glass go beautifully with our sofa and love seat and the red border around the top matches a picture above the sofa. We added a dimmer switch so we can adjust the light perfectly. It was packaged very well; it arrived quickly in pristine condition. Thank you, Amazon; we couldn't be more pleased! Highly recommend this chandelier!
