Useful for masking watercolor painting
Roll of tape difficult to start to unroll it to use but fine once I got it started. I use it to mask sections in my watercolor painting. It works well. Didn't leave residue on the watercolor paper.

Very thin
Wasn’t as thick as I expected but might work for different purposes. I was trying to use to label boxes and it was very see through. Worked ok but split easily when tearing. Ok otherwise.

Great tape
A great all around household tape.

Used for an unusual purpose
The color of this tape is a translucent off white and it is not flimsy like most masking tape. It was used to place around a long narrow LED light fixture in our office. The point is that this light is quite bright and shines right into our eyes. My assistant started having headaches from it and needed to leave the area regularly. I bought this to run a temporary shade around the edges of the lamp fixture. It let light through well but did not shine directly into our eyes. It has been in place for months with no sign of falling off nor degradation.I know this is not the intended purpose but this should tell you the tape has good adhesion and holds up well, at least for the duration of painting!

Lousy product -Doesn’t Adhere!
Worst tape I’ve ever bought. It doesn’t adhere to anything, and it does not pull out evenly. So you’re left with a strip that’s half the width AND DOESN’T ADHERE item you’re trying to tape together!!

Not that sticky
This is definitely not 3M, as the tape does not have a tight/strong sticking power. We use this kind of tape for many purposes, most recently to post the holiday cards on the door. Unfortunately, the weight of a single-sided card was at times too much for the 3 inch piece of tape to hold up. The tape tears easily and will allow you to write on it with pen or sharpie (we use it to label plastic food containers as they go into the fridge or freezer) and it does stick, but just not as strong as a hold as other brands. May need multiple prices to do the job.
