A good read for the adventurer or armchair reader.
AT 70 years old I'm not going far from home. But I do target shoot and hunt deer still.I have followed Steven on his Netflix series and have a couple of his Meateater books.I bought this book to read at home with a view to never going anywhere further than the supermarket. But I have have an interest in the wild outside, as I'd say many others have. This book is full of all you'd need to know to survive in the big world. A great read with many tips on even the basic needs both far away and if your only in your garden.

Loved this book, not only was it very informative, but Steve has a very colorful way of taking you on the journey with him.

Good book handy to learn some basics
Good book with lots of helpful and useful content along with good pictures to follow when learning how to do something I.e tie knots, build shelters , etc.The only thing is it's more based around America, but the author is American and does alot of hunting in the American wilderness, so it is expected.

Great book, rubbish binding
Loving the book but I’m barely halfway through and the binding has fallen apart, bit annoying since I’ve only had it a couple of months.Lots of tips useful for anyone from budding outdoors types to squaddies looking to improve their field craft or just avoid eating ratpacks at all costs
