Women's UPF 50+ Wide Brim Braided Straw Sun Hat with Lanyard Natural-Brown

This hat arrived fast, but squished into a small box that slightly bent the brim. I ordered it for a hot summer landscaping job. It has worked quite well so far. The brim is nice and wide so that it can cover my neck and above (face, ears, etc). It also keeps me cooler than without a hat, because its like having your own personal shade around your head. I like the chin strap, but it isn't as comfortable if you wore it around your neck when you want the hat off. Due to the design of the weave, the hat has no holes and so it can get just a little sweaty. All in all though, this is a nice useful sun hat. All the cons are worth the pros in this hat.

I love the wide brim on this hat, but it only lasted a year before the straw split between the head and brim sections making it unwearable.

Don;'t really like hats...smush my hair...don't usually fit my oversized female head. this hat, however, fits well and looks fine. I really like having a cord for windy days at the beach or hiking. Need to protect my face and hair from the sun, so I am glad I finally found a hat that comfortably fits my head and does the job it's meant for...however, really not fashionable or "cute", just protection.

Hat is very flexible, which probably helps with the fit as it seems to be one size fits most. Quality could be better; the brads where the lanyard goes through the hat seem to be a weak point. One of them has already become dislodged either resulting in or caused by a small rip in the weaving at that point. trying not to aggravate it and make it worse, hoping it will last the summer.

I feel the brim is perfect for me. Not huge and not small. I’m enjoying the tie. If I want to take it off I can. The weight of the hat is not heavy. Color is good too.

Nice hat! It could have had a circle of tiny vent holds for steam release from the top. The hat is made of straw so it would warm ya up!the tie holders didn't keep the ties up for wind blow but hey! Other than that...oh well.

I really love the hat. The brim is extra wide so it keeps the sun off my face just like I wanted. The hat is a little large for me, but I expected that. It can't fit everyone perfectly as heads are not all alike. I also like the adjustable string closure - keeps the wind from blowing it off my head. All in all it is a good hat and a good buy.

Perfect for working in the yard during Florida summers. Hat not too tight and I'm able to put all my hair up into it comfortably if I want to. Perfect protection with the wide brim.
