Everything you know about Tsubasa changes now. .com ---- The three-part Tokyo Revelations (2007) and two-part Spring Thunder (2009) continue the adventures of Sakura, Syaoran, Kurogane, Fay, and Mokona from the shojo (girl's) adventure Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (2005). Tokyo Revelations more or less begins where the broadcast series ended: travelers land in a world that's a ruined version of Tokyo, lashed by rains. While Sakura s, her friends search for the Feather Mokona senses. Yuko reveals that the Syaoran viewers know is actually a clone, created by Fei Wang to find the enchanted Feathers. Now the real Syaoran has escaped, and immediately comes into conflict with himself. The clone Syaoran steals one of Fay's eyes, and with it half his magical powers. By moving through dimensions to different worlds, the travelers are fulfilling Fei Wang's plans to create the physical memories he needs. Spring Thunder takes place in the Country of Japan, ruled by Princess Tomoyo. The two Syaorans come into more violent conflict and the revelations continue to pile up. The second episode ends with the companions preparing to embark for the Country of Clow, to free the Princess from Fei Wang--a journey they can undertake thanks to information provided by Watanuki from xxxHOLIC. Presumably, further adventures are in the works. The extras include cast commentaries for all five episodes.
