With this review you won't have to read 17 pages of answers to questions
When investigating this on Amazon I read through 17 pages of questions. All 17 pages were just people continually asking the same 10 questions so I will try to answer them here so you don’t need to spend an hour reading questions and answers. We bought the king bed version and are using it with a 13” memory foam mattress from Costco. This is a day one review so I will update in one month.Shipping: Weighs 59 pounds. Cardboard box is 42” x 21” x 6”. Was well packed for shipping. When ordering they were vague on when it would arrive. We ordered it on Thursday, they shipped it via UPS on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday (a day earlier than the shipping confirmation said).Assembly: The instructions are in pictograph form on one sheet of paper and are easy to understand. They are written in English but you don’t really need the words. There are six long extruded metal pieces that make up the perimeter of the bed with an eighth one that goes down the middle. The three long pieces fold open with legs. The four pieces that make up the top and bottom just bolt together with no moving parts. The instructions are simple. Just lay all the pieces out than start attaching them. The only bad part of the instructions is they named pieces “A” and “A1” (for top of bed) and “B” and “B1” (for bottom) but then the instructions say “A1*1” and “A*1” to indicate there is one of each so just read carefully. Pieces are not labeled on the metal but if you look closely at the diagram you will see the A pieces have slots to attach a headboard and the B do not. It took my wife and I less than 15 minutes to fully assemble and she could have done it herself. None of the individual pieces are heavy. By far the hardest part was lifting the mattress up onto the finished frame (a king mattress is heavy). The only hardware are two long bolts with nuts and 12 short bolts with no nuts. They give you the Allen wrench and nut wrench you need so no other tools are required. Everything was easy to attach. Lastly you snap the metal slats into their holders. Four slats have red dots that match red dots on the center of the bed. Those slots have small tongues on the end that snap into small openings on the slat holders.Slats and lip: There are 9 rectangular extruded metal slats on each side of the bed. Each slat is ½ inch wide on top and they are 8 inches apart (from the center of one slat to the center of the next). The top of the slats are ½ inch below the top of the frame. This provides a lip to hold your mattress or box spring in place and it fit our king memory foam mattress very snugly so that the mattress will NOT move.Mattress/box spring: You do not need a box spring though you can use one. The frame is 18 inches high so a box spring and mattress will be a very high bed. With our 13 inch memory foam mattress and no box spring the top of the mattress is almost 32 inches off of the floor. If you have a traditional mattress even without a box spring you can lay it right on the slats. If you have a memory foam mattress without a box spring you are supposed to put something in between to keep the foam from squeezing through the slats. You can probably use a sheet of cardboard but anything else (particle board, peg board, thin plywood) will work. If you want to put in something like that be aware the inside dimensions of that lip I mentioned are 75.5” x 79.5” so you need something slightly smaller than that. Then cut it in half to fit it in your truck or SUV for transport. My wife and I have opted NOT to put anything between our memory foam and the slats. Reading the question answers about 1/3 of memory foam owners did as we did and about 2/3 bought something to go in between. The 1/3 reported little or no problem with the memory foam leaking between the slats and so far on day one we predict very little problem.Hardwood floors: We have nice hardwood floors. All parts of the frame that touch the floor have built in plastic caps to protect your floor but my wife did not trust that so she bought small rubber squares to put under the feet. There are 9 feet in the king bed version so you will need 9 square rubber pads that are 2” x 2”.Appearance: If you do not put anything under the bed, you can go without a dust ruffle. The metal looks artistic. It is black metal with square corners (nothing is rounded). If you are going to store things under the bed, you will want to hide the frame. A traditional dust ruffle will be too short since the frame is 18 inches high. When answering one of the questions a woman said she had made fabric panels and attached them to the frame with stick on Velcro. That is what we plan to do.Quality: Once assembled is was extremely quiet. I weigh 275 pounds and the bed did not move or squeak at all when I was laying on it rolling around. If I got on all fours and shook back and forth there was an extremely minor squeak but nothing like our old bed. Most of the question answerers and reviewers said there is NO squeak even with heavy people doing the horizontal mambo.UPDATE: There is an EXTREMELY quiet squeak during the bed shaking for certain activities. I doubt anyone would hear it if they were 40 feet away. Slight disappointment but it doesn't change my rating since almost any bed would have more of a squeak than this.

Well made bed frame, easy to assemble
We put the bed together in under an hour, and the result seems pretty study, good looking, and so far squeak free. Lots of storage underneath! When putting it together, we found it to be much easier to not tighten the screws all the way until all the slats are in place. Otherwise, hard to get it perfectly square and also slats won't go in so easily. Small hiccup, otherwise probably would have taken 30 minutes. One of the screw heads stripped, but fortunately they give a spare of each kind -- that's a nice touch. The bed is very cleverly packaged, and arrived without a scratch in our case. Overall, very satisfied with it.

Sturdy and Quiet
This product was the perfect upgrade for our mattress. It was easy to put together, very sturdy (even in the slats), and still leaves so much extra space under the bed for extra storage! The best part about this to me is that it doesn't make creaking or loud noises when moving around on it which is important with our baby sleeping in the crib next to us! I highly recommend this product for a sturdy, quality, and quiet bed frame.

A real upgrade!
Simple, solid, easy to assemble - noticed an immediate improvement in my sleep! I've paired this with my Nest Hybrid King mattress, and it has been a revelation. Don't be turned off by the simplicity, it can be dressed up and slots in nicely with proper bedding. Go for it.

Great bed stand.
Very useful for extra height and storage under the bed. The Slats are a little too far apart for the mattress only, but I was able to use the previous bed's platform. Seems to be very sturdy so far and was very easy to assemble.

Great Value for Money
Great value for your money. A couple screw holes didn't line up, cross bars were all slightly different lengths and most do not fit in the little brackets even by force (hammer, mallet, or body weight). Parts were not clearly labeled to match instructions but it wasn't too hard to figure out. Overall a great product and it is very sturdy even despite these details. Worth the purchase, and hopefully the manufacturer uses this information to improve future production.

Twin Metal Frame
This metal frame is easy to set up as i did it myself. It is sturdy and weight is not a factor when laying on it. It also has storage space as i was able to store two suitcases underneath it. This is really value for my money and yes i would encourage others to buy it.

If you have a thinner/cheaper mattress you won’t be comfortable
Pros:Affordable, ample storage underneath the bed, I like the height and easy installation.Cons:If you have a thin/cheap mattress you’ll feel the bars underneath (not their fault but just saying), the bed is already squeaking a little and it’s only been a couple of weeks, the metal finish flakes off relatively easy.

Sturdy and Easy to put together
I recently purchased the Heavy Duty Steel Slat bed frame, not one but two, because I was so happy with the first purchase. The process of assembling the bed frame was straightforward. The steel slat design is very sturdy and provides adequate support for a comfortable sleep experience without the need for a box spring.I purchased a bed in a box mattress, and I have zero issues feeling the bars under the mattress. The sturdiness of the bed frame is the real standout feature. I would recommend this bed frame to anyone who needs a reliable and sturdy frame for their room. There are also slots to add a headboard or footboard later on down the road.Overall, suppose you're looking for a bed frame that is easy to assemble, sturdy, at an affordable price point, I don't think you would be disappointed.

Bon
Les soudures qui relie la structure de base a la grille de soutien sont fragiles. Design compacte, facile a transporter. Je recommande malgré tous.

Good for about a month.
It's great for the first while then it starts to creak and groan every little movement, doesn't matter how tight you make the bolts, if you use loctite or not.
