Really good compared with spring mattresses

A big dip has developed and isn’t springing back. I turned the mattress but it’s no longer level so feels very uncomfortable. Very disappointed as I loved this mattress at first.

Although i am hesitant to review yet due to not having had the matress in use for more than a month, I do fele the need to say considering my back issues i am pleasantly surprised at this matress.EVERY single matress/bed i sleep on always produces pain of varying levels, and the first few nights to a week are excrutiating!.I expected nothing different from a new matress, not because its bad, just because of my back pain issues.UPDATE after not being in use (bar for one night) in the beginning, then in storage for around 4 months due to personal circumstance, its now been in use since around November 2022, so about a year now.The mattress has turned out to be the comfiest bed i have ever slept in, and not only according to me.Whilst my son was recovering from a hospital visit, he stayed with me and so he could stay in bed each day i let him have my bed. He absolutely loves my bed, and has never been the sort of bloke to go "ooh what a lovely bed!", hes just not cared enough lol, until he slept on this mattress, now its all very important to him and hes promised himself a nectar next time he buys one.I have serious back pain issues, often and for years, and so i did dread attempting a new bed but this one has made it much more easy, its the first time i awoke in the morning without a frown, a frown i didnt realise i had until i woke without it and wondered what was missing.. I swear i nearly fell off the bed when i realised what was different!.It is firm, as in it doesn't dip, even when sitting on the edge, but its also so soft and comfortable, i dont really understand how they did it lol, all i do know is i feel more refreshed after sleeping in this than i have in years, and that feeling hasnt gone. I really didn't realise the value of a good nights sleep, and i know i probably sound like an advert but i truly would recommend this to anyone.I do find all the negative reviews odd, I would recommend this mattress hands down, and it was only because i need to renew my other sons mattresses i came straight back to see if they had this one in a different size, and then realised i hadnt updated my review.Unfortunately the size my son needs is out of stock (not surprising as i imagine they are very popular!), so i will be looking elsewhere for somwhere with this mattress in stock.100% recommend!

I have gained weight and now weigh 20 stone so if you're on the heavier side like me, it works well for a good nights sleep.I used to have a fantastic V Spring but it came to the end of its life so I decided to update with a much cheaper and more modern mattress.It was a hard decision to make having had what was the epitome of comfort for 18 years.When the nectar mattress arrived it inflated well in a few hours and that first nights sleep felt uncomfortable as it is a different sensation after loving a pocket sprung type mattress. It did take me around a month to acclimatise and I can honestly say I now don't wake up with any sore spots from all my injuries over the years that used to be worse on waking, the nectar has helped overcome those morning aches and pains.I rarely wake up uncomfortable. I don't overheat despite being menopausal age and with the previous mattress I really struggled in the hotter months.The mattress isn't my favourite as you don't get that nice comforting sinking cloud feeling that a pocket sprung mattress gives but I do get a good nights sleep so I don't have any complaints about the nectar at all. It's just I can't 'lay in' on it, as soon as I wake I have to get up. Not a bad thing all in all.It has held up well. It has kept me ache free and doesn't overheat me.The shape has never altered. It has never smelt of anything.I can recommend this mattress.I bought it with a 20%. Discount.N.B. If I had the money I would get a Tempur original as the comfort is outstanding as is a VSpring rather than a Nectar.Hope this review helps someone decide.

Lovely looking mattress and was very well packaged, however on trying it out it made me feel like I was continually sinking and so gave me motion sickness so I had to return it. I had to chase up for a refund twice which has put me off buying anything from this company again.
