Love this feeder!
The media could not be loaded. I love this feeder and so do my birds. I’ve seen chickadees, titmice, nuthatches and downy woodpeckers come to it. It’s made of cedar and very well crafted. I mixed natural peanut butter and cornmeal to fill the 8 holes. I would definitely recommend this feeder. Thank you for a job well done :)

Good product
Good product. Works well. A little sloppy filling the holes. The most important thing about it is... The Woodpeckers love it.

Just right for the back deck
This handmade woodpecker feeder was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Big holes for suet plugs and to fill with birdfood "icing". The hook was easy to install and helped us to position it from a hanging position to best view the birds as well as to take it down to refill it. The large size of the feeder is great for when there are a bunch of birdies all getting excited and wanting to circle it.

I’m so delighted‼️
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love love love this cedar suet log feeder! Since I already have an upside down suet feeder, I bought this log feeder primarily to fill the holes with peanut butter/cornmeal dough for my bluebirds. As you can see in the video, within a day they discovered it and they feed frequently on it! I had also bought the cedar Kettle Moraine mealworm feeder last year for the bluebirds. But I wanted to provide some additional food for them. A red-bellied woodpecker pair are also feeding regularly on the log feeder, along with the downy and hairy woodpeckers. I’ve also observed the tufted titmice, chickadees, and nuthatches partaking. I’ve seen the pileated woodpecker several times in my yard on several occasions over the years. So I’m hoping it’ll discover the log feeder as well. The feeder is a definite hit❗️I highly recommend it!!Mrs. David Green

It does work
This product DOES attract woodpeckers and other birds. I had submitted an earlier review that said it didn't attract woodpeckers. But after a couple of weeks, the woodpeckers got used to the product being there and started eating it.

Birds love it!
Very well made. The item is long which acts as a perfect tail prop for a pileated woodpecker. Holes are very large and take a good amount of peanut butter to fill. I would actually prefer there to be less holes in the item as a whole. Squirrels definitely do some damage and chew around the holes; but has held up well with the weather.
