Plenty of power to push a wide range of subwoofers very well.
As long as you set the gain right and all the settings on the amp you will have no problem with blowing your speakers. Alot of reviews on here say that they fryed the amp or blown speakers with this amp. It's because the amp is a good amp. Those people probably had the gain set 2 high or running there amp without a break until the point of frying it. Dont let the negative reviews on this amp turn you away from buying this amp. If you are getting started with a system and need a good sub amp in my opinion 1 of the best amps for the money you can buy. You can pair this item with a Lc2i if you have a newer vehicle and you want to keep your stock deck I would recommend purchasing the LC2i. You can easily tap into your rear speakers without taking the head unit out. Also it gives you the ability produce the the best frequencys comming out of the unit unlike you will get stock. You will have a crappy signal from the head unit going to your speakers inturn gives off crappy sound. This amp paired with the Lc2i gives the best possible signal comming out to reach your speakers to hit the full range of sound. This amp is what an amp should be in price and quality. Paired with the Lc2i in a newer vehicle with the stock head unit and pushing 2 1000wat kicker competition 12" subz set at the lc2i the right way with gain on the amp turned almost off and the lc2i tuned all the way in produces the best slam and gets all the bass from these speakers without even getting the amp hot after hours of use. Maybe the Lc2i unit is making me think this amp is better than what it is but I'm not so sure this is a good amp. I'm ranting and raving about this other product on here called an Lc2i look it up and research it may be what hour looking for like I was. Needing that 1 thing to help me get my system going without ripping out the head unit and produce great sound it was the icing on my cake!!!!! Great system i love the pair

Budget price amp with name brand quality and rms power
I've had this amp since December 2015, it's still going strong. The amp surprised me to say the least, it's a powerhouse along w the right power upgrades, I did the big 3upgrade and installed a 3 farad cap and a new battery.. Started w it hooked up to two 15" kicker L7's wired at 2ohm, it pushed the 15s as hard as they could hit and as far as they could move for a year and the amp was only about 3/4 turned up, now I have it pushing 3 12" q powers deluxe, wired to about 1.6ohm, the amp is only turned up halfway on tha triple twelve's and it's pushing them harder than they were made to be pushed. it's actually pumping out 1900w rms right now at 1.6ohm, so the RMS rating's actually seem to be pretty accurate. I would absolutely recommend this amp if u want major power, with sound quality like a name brand amp, at a budget price... I'm buying my second one soon so I can strap em together and see what they're talking about!

Be aware that wattage rating is not even close! But works well if you know that!
Ok, so everyone should know that the wattage rating on these is a least 3 times LESS at 1 ohm, then what they really are (Divide by 3), that being said. Just buy accordingly. I have one 600 watt Pioneer Champion Pro 12 inch sub that I am powering with this at 2 ohms and it works great, ( guessing around 500 to 600 watts at 2 ohms) You could probably power 2 of these wired in parallel at 1 ohm and it would work well also (should give around 1000 watts).Build your system accordingly. I wish that the sellers of these would start to be honest and just give the true numbers because it is getting ridiculous when they call an Amp 3000 watts and its only giving you 1/3 of that...Had installed for a month and working good still

Heck of a nice amp
I coupled this monoblock with Boss' 2F cap (for $28), and it hits nicely - making a pair of Xplods in a sealed enclosure actually sound good. I have only been running it a few days - and I must say it provides the right bang for the buck. When wired parallel, these subs demand 600W RMS @ 2 ohms impedance. My last amp did them no justice and overheated too easily. Finally I have an amp that exceeds the load requirement. The key is to tune the filters and input level so you don't have distortion.BTW - I had this amp mounted to the box and the subs shook it so hard, the amp resonated and I can see the board-mounted potentiometers rattling around. I feared the amp would have a short life beating it up with low frequency/high displacement torture - so I relocated it to a calmer area.UPDATE (Mar 19, 2014) - This amp is most definitely boss! Still have the same installation with no changes, and this amp is still going strong!! Been thumpin' for 18 months now with no issues. Can't go wrong with this amp for the price!

Purchase something else!
The price was good but once I received the item and installed it, the product wasnt good. It constantly goes in to protect mode even at a low setting. I have hooked it up in two different vehicles assuming the the ground was the issue but it happened in both vehicles. I dont recommend this particular item. Maybe another from their product line will have a better result. Overall I give it 1-star.

Works great!
I have a Diamond 12" sub it's pushing great. It actually has too much power for the 400 watt sub, so I ordered a Alpine SWR-12D2 12. I just hope it has enough power for the single Alpine SWR-12D2 12. Not disappointed at all. I like all the tuning options that are built in. It gets warm but not hot, it has not hit protection mode yet. I would recommend this to any of my friends that aren't rich. People can hear me a block away right now in my 05 Trailblazer. Can't wait for the Alpine SWR-12D2 12. I will update when I receive the new sub. This was perfect for my kind of set up 1 x 12" subwoofer in a vented 1.49cu ft box.Update: I received my new Alpine SWR-12D2 and the amp pumps it perfectly. Running it at 1ohm, and still breaking it in but i have settings about half and gain off. It rattles my traiblazer nicely, it sounds phenomenal. Everything I wanted in a budget build. I can't wait till it breaks in so I can test it's limits.
