Looks great if Flat Black.
I just received my set today. They look great. You get a flat black set, as pictured on the CrankBrothers website. No silver or red on the spokes or connectors as shown on the Amazon picture. You also get the stems to go tubeless, so setup is easy. I will give more information once I receive the cassette and rotors to get these puppies up and running. Bontrager XR4 2.35" expert tires mounted easily and had no issues with tubeless installation. Look at link here to see exactly what you will receive. [...]

Got the wheel set for my ibis SL, turned it 27.5 So far the wheels are awesome, I actually had a flat faraway from the end of the trail rode like that without any issues. Very heavy-duty wheel set. The only thing I would like is having more paws on the rear hub, its a bit of dead spot. I havent noticed it like I thought I would, so far so good!

Cool rims.
These alloy rims are very light and rigid. Being used with tubeless tires, on and off road.

Much better than most people think they are...
I purchased these as a wheelset as part of my custom build on a Santa Cruz Tallboy LTc last year. I did quite a bit of research and found many differing opinions - mostly holdovers from the Gen1 versions of these 24 spokers. I was suprised at the vitriol associated with them and often with CrankBrothers as a company.I must say, for me, over almost 10 months and almost 2,000 trail miles - these wheels have been fantastic. No problems other than some yahoo coming the other way on a blind corner and clipping out a rear spoke on my back wheel. Beware that almost no bike shops carry these spokes so you'll have to order a 4pack from Crankbrothers - but now I have three in reserve!Even the bike repair shops treat them as "goofy" wheels and "problematic" - but to a man, none that I've talked to have ever owned or even ridden a set. Many aren't comfortable even tightening the spokes - so I bought my own spoke tool. All in all I liked the concept of the 24 spoke triangles, the learning curve that made them much much stronger, and my 250lb. body and gear have been well treated on my southern CA trails.I'd buy 'em again.
