Simple to setup and works well
Simple to set on & off temperatures. Nice functionality to have separate on/off temperatures as that stops 'cycling'. Have not explored any of the other modes. Not sure whether 0.1 degree accuracy is really needed - but that might be desired by some. Using this to turn a 240v fan on and off based on temperature and working great!

Works perfectly!
I had a pretty unique use case for this item but it does exactly what it says on the tin!Long story short, the water supply from my bore hole was freezing during prolonged cold snaps due to the water in the brass pressure switch body freezing. I build a housing (MDF Box) to go around the pressure switch, put some insulation around the switch and at the bottom of the box I installed a 25W halogen light bulb and installed the temp sensor at the top.I set it up to turn the light on if the temp in the box fell below 3 degrees and then off again when it got up to 15, using the light bulb as a heating source like a Lava Lamp!I used a little bluetooth temperature logger to monitor the activity and found that the box got up to 15 degrees within about 5 to 10 mins and slowly dropped to 3 degrees over about an hour.Worked a treat and no frozen pressure switch all winter!

Terrific Piece of Kit
I was nearly put off by the negative remarks about the instructions. And yeah, they’re awful, hence the lost star.I wanted to sense a high temperature and turn a fan on, and a low temperature to turn fan off. It proved easy peasy. Press the mode button till the temperature mode comes up. Can’t miss it - there are three rows, one showing actual current sensed temperature, (using the tiny sensor you place anywhere you like), one the ON temperature that you set yourself, and the bottom one showing the OFF temperature that you set. If you’re not sure what temps to set just place the sensor for a while and see what it shows, and you’ll probably sort it. My tiny fan sits on the top of a tall radiator and blows warm air down into the room. I wanted to turn it on only if the radiator was hot. I just laid the sensor in the bottom curve of the hot radiator and waited. The temperature eventually settled at about 55° C. So I set the ON temp to this, and the OFF to 45°. Works like a dream. In case you’re interested, my kitchen comes up to heat more than twice as fast with the fan. A tall radiator puts way too much heat up by the ceiling.

Temperature control
I found it a bit complicated to use the instructions were small print !!!

Easy to use and inexpensive
I bought a heater (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01DW9ESL2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for my greehhouse and wanted more precise temperature control than its built-in thermostat can offer. This gizmo is really easy to use: set the "on" and "off" temperatures , plug in your heater and leave it to do its thing. It also appears to have some sort of timer function, but not needing it I haven't explored further. So far, it has not had problems switching a 2kW resistive load (8-9A) and the temperature probe can be pushed into the soil of a plant pot without (so far) leading to malfunctions.I imagine that it might be useful for home brewing too, or for running a tropical fish tank. I'm thoroughly pleased with it. The only niggle is the instruction leaflet which was clearly not written by a native English speaker. A minor point: it is pretty intuitive to use.

Repeatedly fails
I bought this to use in my tiny greenhouse to allow me to heat in particularly cold spells as recently. Programming it was pretty intuitive (luckily - as the programming instructions were impossible to de-cipher from the mangled English of the people who translated it from Chinese). I got it working - blue light came on and everything looked fine. The following morning I went back to the my little greenhouse. It was not on. The temeprature showed as way below the trigget temperature set. for turning on (and therefore even further below the temperatature set for turning off) but the blue light was off. I switched it off and on again. Nothing. I unplugged and re-plugged it. The operating light came on and the heater was switched on. Great - result. But strange. Not really. It has been failingin the same way ever since I bought it. I go to check on it- it isn't working. I replug it and it comes on. The problem is that it keeps going off after that (in the middle of the night or earlier) and does not come back on without me re-plugging it.Do NOT waste your money. The product is not fit for purpose.

Does Work but----
This device does work ok but instructions are totally useless, got it to work through trail and error, at first could not fathom out how it kept changing to F when trying to set up temp control, this then reverted back to C on it's own, I wanted to use this device to operate an extraction fan in a room to keep it cool and vented ( no windows) I did get it working after setting the on temp higher than the off temp , this was not mentioned in instructions just said select snow flake symbol for cooling, the other settings are for a range of countdown settings but you will never understand instructions to do this you would just have to try and get it working, if you just need a heating or cooling thermostat it works fine and is ok for the money paid just don't try to understand the instructions you will get brain pain
