1 quart pan
I have not used it much yet, but I have a lot of Emeril's cookware and find it nice to use, clean, and handle. The steel is good quality, but you do need to be careful not to use it on high or it turns dark.

I like this pot
I like this pot, but, was smaller than anticipated. The quality is great, the size is small. It does work on a induction stove. This item was packaged well, and arrived on time.

Not what I ordered
I ordered this based on picture and reviews. The original 1 qt saucepan was very heavy and didn't have pour spouts. It looked just like the picture. What I got was a lighter weight version with pour spouts. I wanted the original to replace one my husband accidently ruined. Not necessarily unhappy with the pan, but not happy that its misrepresented.

Not What I Wanted
I have been looking for an emeril pan this size ever since I bought the 2 qt. several years ago. The two quart has two pouring lips and a see through lid that has holes on either side to let out steam and allow liquid to be poured out. It's my favorite pan and iuse it all the time. I had seen the smaller version at Bed, Bath and Beyond, but only as part of a set. I thought maybe I could find only a 1 qt with the same features. This little saucepan looked the same but I couldn't tell from the pictures. I relied on the description. Big mistake. There is an edge all around the pan so you can "pour" from any direction. The lid is see through but has no "holes" for steam or drainage. It is a sturdy little pan and I have elected to keep it only because it would cost too much to return. Not worth the time and money. Am hoping my husband might use it for BBQ sauces. I will keep looking for the pan I wanted, because this wasn't it.

Pro-Clad is an Awesome Cookware Value
Purchased this to go with our Emeril Pro-Clad set that we bought.Emerilware Pro-Clad Tri-Ply is nothing more than All-Clad cookware that has been manufactured in China hence the more reasonable price. It's every bit as well made as it's All-Clad counterpart not just some re-branded substitute. Keep in mind when looking at other Emeril cookware, not all is Pro-Clad. The entire piece of Pro-Clad cookware is made from the metal laminate not just the bottom. It's some heavy duty stuff! We installed a Wolf Induction cooktop and needed some induction ready cookware. The cookware is solid & heavy, it's polished and finished to perfection. It's sets flat & level on the cooktop. It heats evenly which is also due in part to the induction heating. It does not buzz like some of the lower cost induction ready cookware that's available.Remember the #1 rule of cooking in stainless steel: NEVER use more than medium heat. This is the number one cause of all the scorching, sticking, burning and hard to clean problems. If your stove is slow to come up to medium heat, you can use momentarily use high heat to pre-heat your pan to get it there quickerAs for cleaning, some foods will discolor the inside of the pan, that's perfectly normal. All you need to do is use some BKF (Bar Keepers Friend) cleanser and a scrubbie sponge (not Ajax, not Comet, not SOS, not Scotch-Brite). A quick and effortless scrub and it's new & shiny. For the stuck on stuff, just let the pan set with a little dish water and it will soften right up. That is if you remembered rule #1. I avoid putting any of it in the dishwasher, I wash it by hand and have never had an issue.

good product
We like this quality cookware. It is elegant and comfortable to use. We woul have givenit five stars except for one minor complaint: the lid has a ridge inside of it that traps food and water making lifting the lid a little messy and cleaning bothersome . Other than that: worth the money

great little pan
Emeril Pro-Clad Stainless 1-Quart Sauce Pan I had the rest of the set just needed this pan to complete. Just the great little pan that I needed. The best thing about the Emeril pans is that they have the heavy bottom which retains the heat better and uses less energy when cooking. Thanks for letting me write this review.

Needed to replace my previous Emeril 1 quart saucepan
Had an unfortunate mishap a few months ago (left water boiling on the stove and completely forgot about it - my favorite pot, which had been with me for many years, did not fare well). Tried living without it for a few months but missed it too much - it is the perfect size for a single portion of soup, etc. When I searched for a replacement, I could not find another of comparable quality at an affordable price. Emeril’s cookware line is of very solid construction with high quality materials; heats quickly and evenly. I also like being able to see through the glass cover. This is my new favorite pot!
