The hound if the Baskervilles is the third crime novel ...
The hound if the Baskervilles is the third crime novel written by Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes. For most of the part the setting is in Dartmoor in Devon in England's West Country. It tells a story about an attempted murder inspired from a ancient legend, hound of supernatural origin. To create suspension and tension novel uses abandoned traditional novelistic techniques such incorporating letters, diary extracts, interpolated manuscripts his writing. There were five major plot: the 'curse' story, two subplots concerning Selden and the other stranger living on the moor, the actual events occurring to Baskerville as narrated by Watson, and the hidden plot to be discovered by Holmes. This novel was able to keep me wondering what his next step is going to be and how each case will end up. The character of Sherlock Holmes created by Arthur is compelling because of this missing detail and because it's the opinion formed by Watson himself. The missing parts of where Holmes investigates on his own is where we wonder when he comes back what crazy approach he is going to use next to track down.
