Dickies Women's Short-Sleeve Work Shirt

I purchased this shirt in an XL. I am a size 16/18 in pants and XL in shirts. I am also 5'10", which makes the longer length of this shirt perfect for me. I was debating purchasing this shirt because I was afraid the cut would make me look too manly. I finally gave in after being disappointed with other work shirt purchases time and time again. I am so glad that I finally gave in! Some other reviewers complained that the shirt was cut for a man...and while it is definitely not overly feminine, this cut actually made me look great (for work, at least). I am quite curvy, so maybe this helped me out a bit in this instance. The shirt fits tighter (but not too tight) around the hips and around the chest. It is looser in the middle, or waist, area but this actually helped to enhance my curves without making the shirt tight or inappropriate for work. The shirt actually makes me look slimmer for some reason, which I assume is due to the cut. I do not tuck this shirt in , so that may be another reason it does not look so boxy on me. The two pockets on the front also aid in making the shirt a bit more flattering, while maintaining work appropriateness. For me, the length is perfect. It falls just where my torso meets my legs. This is great because as I move and bend I don't have to worry about the shirt pulling up too much and exposing areas that should not be exposed at work. The sleeves are also looser, so I don't have to worry about being restricted in arm movement either. It does not seem to wrinkle too much, but I could see ironing it for a more crisp, professional look. The material is breathable and not too heavy, but appears to be quite durable. The shirt is perfect for work in industrial environments. It allows me to feel as though I am dressed appropriately for my job without taking away my femininity completely. I only wish it was made available in more colorful options such as red or purple!

I suggested these fit "somewhat large" because I was able to order down a size from what I thought I would get. These shirts fit me just like they fit the model in the image, despite my being a little big bigger than the girl depicted.For reference, I am 5'10", 190, 36G/38F (depending on the bra) and wear a 14 (sometimes 12) pant. I usually order XL in shirts (or 14) and rarely order button downs because of the dreaded gapping issue in the chest area. However, these fit very well, no gapping, and I can even wear an undershirt/layering tank and no problems. I do have a longer torso and yet these work shirts are long enough to cover the waistband of my pants. I don't worry about bending over to pick up or move things because I feel covered by the "tails" of the shirt. I have some experience noticing the sleeves being a little tight - just around the ends/stitching, but it's only when I'm doing something like bending over to touch my toes (I like to stretch during the day) or hanging my arm over the back of my chair. It's not tight enough to be uncomfortable, though.Hope this helps - I really wasn't sure how I'd feel about these ordering online without trying on first. They pack well and wash easily - no wrinkling, no ironing, no shrinking. Also, no fading (I got black and gray). Very happy with these shirts. My husband likes them on me - I wear the gray ones for fun with the top two buttons undone and he thinks I look cute in them. Perfect for my figure.

I got XL which is what the size guide and Amazon say. It fits but pretty snug. Maybe you like it well fitted. I found it tight across the chest. If I was the full 47 it says XL will take my buttons would pop all the time. I am keeping this one and buying an XXL. Well made, just get a size up. So I got the XXL today and the fit is perfect. Happy shopping.

I've been looking for a comfortable and flattering womens work shirt for who knows how long. I don't know why the one i ordered was significantly less in price but it was perfect. Super comfortable. I don't look like a square anymore wearing mens shirts.I only wish the price point on the other colors was as low as the navy blue. Its comfortable and flattering but i dont know about $49 worth.

Fast shipping, fit very nicely. Not too big or too tight. I am 5’5” and 160lb. I got medium. There is still room to move around and doesn’t feel small. Shirt is fitted, button down, flip pockets, and cap sleeve type shoulders. Very nice. Not as breathable at redkap uniform shirts but this definitely is durable and makes me look more like a woman than looking like a woman in men’s clothes.

This shirt is fitted, lightweight, and very durable - great looking. Unfortunately I am extra gifted in the upper body area, and that makes it difficult for me to buy fitted shirts. Most of my other tops are size Large, so that's what size I bought for this shirt. It's way too small. I can wear it as part of a layered look, but I am unable to button it up. This fits more like a Medium instead of a Large. If you're well-endowed in the chest area, I suggest ordering a size larger.

My teen is a scout. The fit is functional for working your upper body choping wood ect. Quite pleased.

This shirt fitted me perfectly, sure a little roomy around the midriff but perfect around the bust, I have DDS and a medium fitted amazingly well. Highly recommend these shirts, I may get myself another one in a different colour :-)
