Ouma Buttermilk Sliced Rusks - 450g (1)

Went to South Africa for vacation. Needed a work/office souvenir. Saw these in the local supermarket. Buying through Amazon saved packing space and let me buy more than I would have if I had actually brought them back. They are dry so best with coffee and tea. But tasty. They disappeared pretty quickly so I'm guessing people enjoyed munching on them .

Best risks ever

The rusks were very crumbled and broken up but still taste delicious. Very overpriced but we understand we are paying for a taste of home. Wish they were more readily available in the US.

So glad to be able to get this South African delicacy from Amazon! Grew up with the rusks in South Africa so it’s a joy to get it here in the USA. Never disappoints and always brings back good memories . Thank you!!

Not worth the price. The rusk tastes very bad and it expired a day after delivery. So am stuck with a bad pack of rusks that cannot even be returned and will need to be thrown away. $9 in drain.

goes great with anything or by itself. try with coffee or tea. try with milk. rich buttery taste. highly recommend.
