First, the lamp itself: it's attractive and extremely well made. It's carved from a solid block of calcite, which explains both the weight (heavy!) and the price. (Some cheaper calcite lamps are made from thin sheets of stone glued together to form a box, with mismatched veins at the seams. Not this lamp.) It's polished perfectly smooth, with a matte finish (even on the inside). The base is cast aluminum (not plastic!) with substantial rubber bumpers to protect whatever it sits on. Even the cord seems heavier weight than most lamps.It comes with an E12 LED flame-shaped bulb, but you could replace that with any dimmable LED bulb with a E12 base. The dimming range covers nightlight to bright accent light. The light seems whiter than the yellow tinge in the photos here, though that probably varies depending on the calcite.One complaint: the light would sometimes flicker—but only when only when the dimmer dial was at maximum. I found this was easy to avoid by simply dialing the dimmer down just a bit. I was planning to use a separate remote-control dimmer anyway, so this didn't really bother me...... which brings me to the customer service. I wanted to rewire the lamp to swap the white cord for a brown one (and get rid of the dimmer, which I didn't need). With a lot of lamps this is pretty easy, but the Phiestina fixture is put together in a way that it just can't be disassembled.I found a web contact form for Phiestina (plumbing fixtures, not lighting, but the same logo), and emailed asking for help. I wasn't entirely expecting any reply at all (based on past experience with other overseas manufacturers), and figured at best maybe I'd get a "sorry, our lamps aren't meant to be rewired" response. But it couldn't hurt to ask.Phiestina emailed me back within a day. And once I explained what I wanted to do, they shipped me all the parts needed to assemble a new lamp fixture with my own cord. FedEx'd from China. At no charge! They even put together detailed photos and instructions showing how to put the parts together. What can I say, I absolutely love this!• The design and craftsmanship are spot on.• It is quick and simple to set up.• And my biggest compliment: it works amazingly with hue lights!I got the white one because I wanted to make sure it showed all the colors of the hue lights well without distorting them. It does that and adds a very nice ambiance. I’ve added pictures as examples.All in all, this is a definite must for a relaxing, zen-like environment.

The media could not be loaded. Came with a color printed box, no styrofoam (which i hate the most as usually it will lead to restless cleaning works after unpacking) inside but a pre cut white EPE case that the lamp can firmly fit in, nice packing good protection.First look at the lamp it’s like a ivory jade, looks beautiful for home decor even it’s no lit up yet, that made me feel my money is worthy; later i turned it on....wow it’s like a stone on fire, or a set lava with charming crystal clouds in it; then i moved it from my side table to my nightstand, and adjust the brightness to the maximum, i can read my book just lie next to it, I dimmed it down a little bit and started to swipe my cellphone, my eyes also feels right. It’s such an outstanding lamp, a lightening rock, so different from those traditional ones in the market, so glad for my choice.

This is absolute beautiful and very heavy. You will love it. You can turn it around and it gives you a little different look. ❤️

I have bought three lamps and my last one the bulb / cord is no longer working can I order a replacement?

This is a beautiful lamp. But, the actual light flickers and destroyed the entire look...very expensive to not work properly.
