This is an excellent helmet. The fact that it's foldable does not seem to compromise its strength. The helmet will not fold or collapse while it's fastened to your head. Great product.

This helmet is not MIPS certified. Avoid it like your life depends on it… because it does. Do you self a favor and get a MIPS certified helmet that will actually save your life. A great example for only $50 is the Specialized Align 2.

Because the Closca helmet easily compresses, I find it handy to toss into my backpack so that when I grab a Citibike here in Brooklyn or Manhattan, I have the helmet, adding a factor of safety rather than taking my chances with an unprotected head. I find the Closca helmet, which meets all safety standards, the best helmet I've owned. My wife agrees and wears hers every time she bikes.

Bought it for my husband who likes to take a Citibike to or from work, spur of the moment so he keeps it in his backpack. So much less bulky than his regular one. Now my daughter wants one too.

Very light and easy to use, this helmet is also beautiful. And perfect for big head ! And good price on amazon :)

very light, very easy to open and close, seems it's 1st class quality, comfortable, size adjusts quickly even wearing a beanie in this cold weather, my head is 60/61 cm so in spring/summer just need to tighten fitting a bit, seems to have all the quality test marks for safety - hopefully will never need to try that out!!!! Looked at lots, this seems to be the best and fits the bill for recreational and non serious sporting biking - I am 70!! Recommended and is pretty compact when closed. The Brompton and I are happy.

Was looking for something easy to carry and this complimented my collapsible bike. Although the term collapsible goes against everything a bike and helmet should inherently be. This helmet is the the ultimate must by for all safety fashion enthusiasts. I have survived numerous crashes and baseball bats to the head thanks to this delightful piece of equipment. Unfortunately I purchased it in grey and have had to quit school because I am now deemed too cool. Someone said it was because I am in my mid thirties, but I think that's fake news.

Necesitaba un casco para mi bicicleta eléctrica. Me gustó el diseño de estos cascos, pero me pareció excesivo pagar tanto, así que elegí este modelo que parecía tener un precio razonable. Para ser honesto, estaba un poco preocupado porque solo había una reseña y el precio parecía muy diferente. The helmet is very well designed. It is very light, simple, and ergonomic, without unnecessary bits of plastic; it looks fantastic (reminded me of the Guggenheim museum in NY). The reflective band looks white in the daylight, but it really shines in the dark when hit by a light; it looks three-dimensional as opposed to a simple reflective surface. Good for safely in dark winter evenings. It is easy to store and carry when collapsed.However, the L size should be listed as XL in comparison with other helmets I have used.

It is an helmet, light, easy to put on, and can be folded, but it doesn't really make it much smaller.It is still hard to fit in a bag when folded, as still very bulky and it seems to be made out of polystyrene on the inside which make me doubt it will be very durable, and is earth conscious at all.I also find that the clip under your chin is hard to adjust to the right position.Overall I find it slightly overpriced for what it is. Will use it now that I havr it, but will buy a different one next time, that actually fold more so that it can be carried easily when not cycling.
