This is Nathan’s wife writing the review, I’m a full time interior designer and love this desk. I was a little afraid since looking at other reviews but I’m convinced it’s the classic cherry desk that’s just harder to get a good finish on it.. All of the pieces were heavy and initially I thought it as for sure it was solid wood, beautiful finish! It did take a long time to assemble with two people working on it. In the end I loved how it turned out and the best feature that I didn’t even know was an option is the L can be built in any direction you want it to be! If I ever move I can easily re assemble and flip the L shape to the other side! I’m still not finished redecorating my office I have quite a few things on the way but I did go ahead and change out the knobs, they were not my style (The drawers are pre-drilled to 4” center to center). The slide mechanism could have been better but I don’t care that much. The deeper side of the desk is perfect spacing for a monitor or even 2 so I didn’t built the keyboard drawer, you don’t really need it. Get this desk for a fraction of Pottery Barn/Ballard/CB2 it looks like the real deal! Would definitely buy again

As someone who doesn't mind assembling furniture and isn't overly picky this desk is a fantastic choice. For those that don't like long and tedious work and are annoyed by the little things, I would rate this 4 stars instead of 5.Overall install time for me was about 5 hours. I've assembled a lot of my own furniture so for those with less experience it could take 6+ hours to complete. The build is extremely solid and the quality of the pieces is commercial quality and well worth the price. This desk is now apart of my home office and it looks extremely classy and is by far the centerpiece of the room. None of the pieces were damaged in transit, not even a scratch which speaks to how well it was packaged. For someone looking for an extremely high quality desk without paying 1k for it, this is a great go to.The only issues I have with the desk is that some of the connections aren't clean without a little extra work. For example, without priming some of the screw holes, some screws have trouble screwing in completely leaving tiny gaps. The gaps are eliminated after priming the holes but that just adds time to already tedious work. One thing I constantly found annoying was removing the stickers. On other furniture I've assembled the labels have easily peeled off, but these stickers are a little too strong and require scraping off the residue with your nail sometimes.The instructions are extremely clear and straight forward which made assembly very easy. The only complaint I had was that two types of screws are close in number (6825 and 7125 I think) and without closely looking at the full number you can easily get them confused as they are the same size but different head (I had to go back and switch the screws once I realized later). But overall a great purchase and the quality is worth more than the price!

I bought two of these for a new office where thankfully we have a large and talented facilities department. They are still not happy with me over this purchase because they took roughly 18 man-hours to assemble both (I thought they'd be faster with the second one but not so much). In the end, I have two very attractive desks that one would assume cost much more money. One of the panels split along the fastener line and about a six inch piece broke off. It's in a spot that is difficult to see unless you are below desk level, so it was much easier to just live with it than to re-live the assembly experience.

I wasn't too sure about this desk when Amazon upgraded my order to this desk as they ran out of the desk that I had ordered. Boy could I be happier? This is a wonderful desk, looks, and is very sturdy. The assembly is a pain though, it took me all of my Sunday to assemble. I had to request one of the parts and called Bush customer service, and they shipped it by FedEx Overnight. This looks great for any office. The best part is the amount of table space you get. If you are used to working on a single table, you will love this upgrade. The cost is a bit high, but I would say it shows its price after you place it in your office. As one of the reviewers pointed out, you have to assemble it at the place where you plan to use it - you cannot move it once you install it. Also, make sure you follow the instructions very meticulously. This is a monster of a project to rollback if you make a mistake. Even though there are 57 pages of instructions, depending on whether you install the main desk to the left or right, you will be done in about 40 steps. The pictures are very clear to follow.Overall, this is a desk that you do not have to replace soon once you get it. This should serve you well. My personal experience is that if you are serious about the purpose you want to buy this desk for, this can help create the environment you need to do that job. After all, without the right environment, there is no way you can focus on what you need to do. If you can afford the price tag, I would highly recommend this desk.

I was offered free installation which never happened, CONTRACTOR MISSED 2 APPOINTMENTS. WASTED MY 2 Day’s.It took me another 2 days to built this it came out with damaged Edge .Manufacturer wanted to waste my few more weeks by ordering the new and have me install that. CRAZYAFTER ARGUING FOR WEEKS I WAS ABLE TO GET 35% Disscount .PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND DO NOT ORDER THIS TABLE CHEEP QUALITY AND MATERIAL I AM JUST STUCK WITH THIS TABLE.I Have paid MORE THEN 800$for this thing i think real cost should be 350$.
