My all-time favorite AIP chef and cookbook
I must confess being remiss about reviews of Kate Jay’s phenomenal recipes on her blog (and guest blogging). I have survived the AIP diet with the work of many, but Kate Jay’s recipes helped me to thrive ove the past 2 years. I have a long-standing love of cooking and nutrition and to learn of a passionate and creative chef who embraced AIP has been amazing! This cookbook is chock full of novel, nutrient-dense and flavorful recipes and is beautiful to peruse. The information that she has compiled around basics in the kitchen is concise and highly relevant. The information on how to be successful starting the AIP diet and following it through all its stages is supportive and clearly written and organized.I highly recommend this cookbook to sustain your health and a joyful and satisfying relationship to food!

GREAT book for any stage of AIP
I love this book!! First of all, it is jam packed with great info on how to reintro foods when you are on AIP. The information is so well written and easy to follow. Secondly, I have not made a recipe of Kate’s that we did not like. Her recipes are so well thought out and absolutely delicious! Lastly, the way that she wrote the recipes, you can make any of them no matter what stage of AIP you are on. This is brilliantly written. She also has coconut-free suggestions. Each recipe has many variations to meet you where you are on your AIP journey.Thank you again Kate for another great resource and recipe book! :)

Such a helpful resource for the reintroduction phase of AIP!
In Kate’s new cookbook, The Autoimmune Protocol Reintroduction Cookbook, she presents a collection of over 100 recipes that are compliant for every stage of reintroduction on the Autoimmune Protocol. This is a unique approach, as there are now dozens of cookbooks offering recipes for the elimination phase, but Kate’s offering here is one of the few books that actually includes recipes designed specifically for the task of reintroducing foods!Three things I love about The Autoimmune Protocol Reintroduction Cookbook:1. Detailed instructions on the reintroduction process. You may find yourself having worked through the elimination phase of the Autoimmune Protocol with success (yay!), but feeling unclear about how to go about reintroductions. Kate has included all of the information you need in order to organize and prepare for the reintroduction process.2. Single-ingredient focus. If you have tried reintroductions or are familiar with the process, you know that it is important to introduce just one ingredient at a time (which is so, so hard!). All of the recipes in Kate’s book are fully compliant with the elimination phase of AIP, with the addition of just one reintroduction-stage ingredient to be trialed, making it easy (and tasty!) to work through that long list.3. Flexibility. Even though the concept of this cookbook is to provide recipes that include ingredients to be reintroduced, Kate includes modifications to revert the recipes back to the elimination phase or make them low-FODMAP. She also indicates which recipes are coconut-free and freezer-friendly.This book is perfect for anyone who is either looking at reintroducing foods after some time in the elimination phase, or those who have successfully reintroduced foods and looking for some flavorful recipes for their expanded way of eating.

Good Info For Reintroduction, Could Use More Pictures
I got this thinking it was an AIP cookbook, but it actually is an AIP Reintroduction cookbook. All of its recipes are for the reintroduction phases, which definitely has a place when doing AIP, but I just didn't realize it when I ordered it.Some pros about the book:It categorizes the recipes by each phase of reintroduction to better go through that phase and figure things out.It has a decent amount of information on the autoimmune protocol in general, and went into some of the reasons behind why it's important and also how important reintroducing food is.Cons:There aren't pictures for all the recipes, maybe half of them? That was quite disappointing.Overall I think this book would be helpful for those needing to do a strict AIP and reintroduction. I did not need to do as intense or strict of a protocol, so the full potential of the benefits of this book were lost on me. I mostly looked through it to find recipes that worked for the foods I have to avoid so it was still helpful but not to the fullest extent it can be.

a fantastic AIP resource
I love this cookbook - its a really good resource for anyone on the AIP diet.. even if you're not at the elimination stage yet as Kates made everything adaptable to the elimination phase. She has even put notes for every single recipe regarding fodmap - which is a hugely useful resource. On top of this cookbook you also get access to her private Facebook page where she answers questions... she's an amazing resource and very giving of her time. this is a great staple AIP cookbook if you're needing / wanting an AIP cookbook and if you are also needing help with re introductions (which we all do!!!)

Finally a book that helps you along the way
This book is great. Not just for reintroduction, because all of the recipes can be made AIP compliant. The book is very inspiring and helpful, puts your mindset right to be able to do the elimination phase and to do the reintros right. Absolute life saver.

Can't stop, Won't stop cooking from this book!
When Kate Jay of the Healing Family Eats blog announced a cookbook I pre-ordered immediately. My annual cookbook pressie to me! Imagine my surprise despite Kate announcing delays when this beautifully photographed easy to follow delicious recipes book turned up on my doorstep. That afternoon hubby and I argued over who was to look at it first and he's not a foodie or living with autoimmune diseases. I live with 3 and been following the protocol for over 6 years now and this is the first real reintroduction resource on the market. I have been cooking my way through the book for the last month and loving the simple yet flavoursome meals. It has been a journey down a culinary memory lane too growing up in the UK. Stand outs are the Cornish pasty, sticky toffee pudding, brown sauce (so much better than the HP version I grew up with), apple crumble, fish pie and tuna bake and the moussaka meatballs - hubby claimed that recipe alone was worth buying the book. All four reintro stages are covered but I think this is also a great buy for anyone who just wishes to eat healthy anti-inflammatory foods without feeling they're following a "diet"

Excellent resource for AIP
Fantastic cook book. Love how it includes all steps of AIP including how to modify the recipe if you’re not at that step. The side notes are great on whether it’s freezer friendly or how to modify the recipe . The best part is the food actually tastes great - so far my favourite is the the fish tacos with watermelon salsa .

A purchase well worth it
Straight to the point and clear instructions. I wasn’t sure where to start with reintroduction so the book was very welcomed. The recipes I’ve tried so far have been great and all the ingredients easy to source. Thank you to the author.
