Nice little clip for many uses
Handy little alligator clips. It is possible to crimp these onto a wire, solder the wire to the clip, or both.

These will rust around water
I used these stainless steel clips to hold scarves on a frame for dying. Thinking they would not rust because they were stainless steel, I was disappointed to find permanent rust marks on the edges of my silk scarves which prevented me being able to sell them. Live and learn, but I was not happy about the loss of materials. Probably fine for other projects, but I wouldn't leave them in a damp atmosphere either.

Great quantity.
I gum these up with paint quickly in lure painting. Don't have to take the time to scrap them clean. Use them a few times and toss them at the price. They are the right size for hobby "helping hands "tools

Used to make cap retainers
I use these to make hat retainers for our family. When we are out in a boat at cruising speed, hats tend to fly off and get lost in the river or lake. I just take a 12" length of orange microcord and place one of these on each end, knotting the cord and then crimping the cord in place. Why spend $5-10 on commercial hat keepers when for .50 these work just as well?

Excellent for making wire holders
I make my own wire holders for soldering. A small piece of copper house ground wire 12 gauge and solder these clips to it on each end. Then slide a small piece of heat shrink over the teeth. Make soldering in an engine bay or inside the Body harness a breeze.

So handy!
I use these to hold small pieces of copper together while being silver-soldered. They don't melt or give off fumes in the flame and seem to be lasting longer than I thought they would. I'm happy with them.
