Exceptional Performance, Convenient Charging Base, Quality Components
After going through two Phillips Sonicare Airflossers, well before what I considered a normal lifespan, I decided it was time for a change. First, I'm going to admit to you that one of the necessary requirements for me in choosing a new oral irrigation system would be esthetics. If it was going to be on display on my bathroom counter, I wanted to be happy seeing and using it daily. Also, a charging base was a must. I didn't want to have to bother plugging in a usb cord in order to charge it. I wanted the same convenience that I enjoy with my toothbrush; the simple action of using it and just placing it back onto its base to charge. Those two factors are what initially drew my attention to this oral irrigator from Panasonic. Yes, it was priced higher than other brands, but now that I'm using it daily, I can happily justify paying a bit more for this product as it does a great job. The quality is apparent right out of the box. The ergonomic design of the unit sits comfortably in the hand and the silicone texture on the back gives a secure grip even with wet hands. It's easy to fill and holds more than enough water for a thorough mouth cleaning. And yes, most importantly, it's powerful. So much so that I'm starting out at a mid point level until my gums adapt to the impressive water pressure. Having said that, changing the water pressure levels is easy; control buttons are conveniently located where fingers naturally rest when holding the unit. Another good thing to note is that this model comes with two tips making it ideal for multiple users. Tips are easily interchangeable and can be kept on the base. And speaking of the tip, it rotates so achieving the ideal angle in one's mouth is easy.If you are already familiar with using this type of oral irrigation system, you know it initially may take a little practice to master this form of dental hygiene. But because of this units on and off button, you have complete control of the water flow so keeping your bathroom counter splatter free is so much simpler. This unit gives me confidence that I'm removing food particles that brushing alone misses. And what's notable about this particular model is the technology behind the design. The water is pushed through in microdroplets which can reach deep between gum and teeth.Bottom line, it's a quality oral irrigation system that performs exceptionally well, looks sleek and modern, and offers the convenience of a charging base. Panasonic also stands behind this product by offering a reassuring 30 day money back satisfaction guarantee along with a two year warranty. I've posted some photos and sincerely hope they help you decide what's best for your needs. Bottom line, I love it and can comfortably and enthusiastically recommend it. Thank you!

Searching no more. This is the best. I tried the flossers from Waterpik, Philips too
If you are like me and like your tools to be sturdy and powerful, the Panasonic one is the only one to choose. As a person who reject to get my wisdom teeth pulled out, this water flosser will be my lifelong companion to clean the gap between the back-end teeth and the wisdom ones. And the first one that I own have been lasting for almost 10 years and still work like day one. I even tried to change to some other brand in-between simply because I wanted to buy two water flosseres as backup and I thought the other two brand might perform better. Then, there came with Waterpik and Philips.Comparison: The Waterpik one is way too weak. It is impossible to flush out the stuck food debris from teeth gaps. I bought two. The water pulse is so weak I even thought it was a defected one. So, I returned and tried another one. My friend has the same opinion as I did. We both returned and switched back to Panasonic. The Philips one has too much gimmick (it mixes water and air. but nothing helpful) and still the water power is not stronger than Panasonic. Besides, the Panasonic one is the only one which is foldable and that is perfect to protecting the nozzle when travelling.Battery: This one use two AA batteries. if you use rechargeable Li-on AA batteries and the power can go up to a new level. The Philips one is li-on and Waterpik one I bought needs 3 aa batteries. Personally, I do not like build-in batteries. Since it would have the same updating cycle as its battery even the other parts are still good. Now, I own three of this one and my friend also owns one. One is for home, one is in the office. And the other one is as back-up. Simply because I am worried that Panasonic may discontinue the products in the future. But the first one is still in its perfect working status.

Solid product
1-month reviewPros: Works as advertised, gets most food bits out even on a single fill. After a few weeks it becomes easy to find interdental spaces and the whole cleaning becomes a quick operation. Very compact, easy to clean. Original batteries still going after a month of daily use. Seems well built, let's see if it stands the test of time.Cons: Doesn't come with a case. Uses AA batteries instead of inbuilt rechargeable one. Jet could be stronger but in the small form factor this is understandable.

EW1511 -- Best water flosser I've found. I bought two.
I've tried most water flossers. The EW1511 is the one to buy because it has the fewest flaws. It's the only one that's quiet, doesn't have an awkward cord, and leaves you feeling clean. It also doesn't need to be refilled while flossing because it uses less water. This review is for the Panasonic EW1511 - the water flosser with the at-home charging baseComparisons:EW1511 vs Waterpik Plug-in CountertopThe countertop Waterpik provides a superior clean, but it's loud—like a garbage disposal—and messy, with water droplets all over the bathroom. If you have family at home, it will wake them up, which was a dealbreaker for me.EW1511 vs Waterpik PortableThe Waterpik cordless has about half the pressure of the countertop unit. It is portable, but it is a huge compromise that doesn't leave you feeling clean. I also needed to refill it to finish cleaning my mouth.

Panasonic Portable Water Flosser
I’ve been using this water flosser for a while and I really like it. It’s easy to clean, take with me on travel, and I don’t have to buy distilled water anymore. So far it’s been working great, but even if it quits on me it’s not as expensive to replace as other brands/types.
