This is not the cheapest treble out there but there is definitely a reason for that. These hooks are better than some more expensive ones I have used. Very, very sharp and more importantly, they stay sharp. Also, I have snugged rocks few times using the 50lb braided line, Only once, the line broke as opposed to a hook with this strong line, which happened several times before this hook). All others, I have managed to pull out the line with so slightly bent hook, which again, even after being snugged to the rock, was STILL sharp).Also, each time I caught a fish, I could see that hook penetrated so nice, that there is a very small to no chance that fish will manage to unhook itself.Really great hooks.

These are supposed to be superior hooks. I always thought they were. If my crankbait (2 1/4" not that big) drags the bottom a bit I get a hook or two significantly bent open a fair amount. I don't know what's going on. I have another major brand that doesn't seem to do this. Surprised and a bit disappointed. I didn't expect that at all.

Switched out stock hooks on some cranks I like to use. The red paint chips off and as the day goes by you can see it slowly turning from red to silver. Wish it was more durable as far as staying red. Hook up ratio and strength are fantastic. Definitely better than nearly any stock hook and I much prefer the EWG to a round bend.

Replaced the Size 4 hooks on all of my Rattlebaits with the Size 2 UltraPoint Elite Series Triple Grip with 1 Extra Strong/2 Extra Short Hooks. Cut down on loss fish to ZERO loss fish. These hooks are SHARP, right out of the package!

Great idea! Sharp! You can use better, larger hooks without affecting the action of your crankbaits.

These hooks are sharp and will stick a fish. They stay hooked. I landed a 5.5 pound bass and only one barb was in the upper lip. Watch KVD YouTube video for tips on what size to buy for different baits.

I lose a lot of fish on Rat-L-Trap lures with the standard #4 on the front. I replaces the front #4 hooks with these #2 short shank hooks and it does help, I lose fewer fish. These are good hooks.

These hooks are fantastic. Throw out that junk that came with your crankbaits and put these on. Black nickel looks amazing and they are very good quality.
