Look good. Appeared to have rust on package, read review...
I bought 5 sets of these to replace the 2 piece lugnuts on my wifes 2017 Ford Escape Sport with the Black 19" wheels. I had read about the 2 piece OEM lugnuts bulging and swelling so I checked the Escape, most of them I could still get a 19 socket on them but most needed a lot of force. So I decided it was best to just replace them. Read lots of reviews and decided on McGard, mostly because they are 1 piece and guaranteed for life not to rust.So when they arrived, I was disappointed to find all the packages had what appeared to be rust on the inside, all at the same points. Before I even opened the package I called McGard. They asked if it was a brownish color at two spots in the packaging all at the same spots. I said yes exactly. They said that they use a chemical to test the lugnuts that discolors the packaging. I said ok I would check them. I opened the packages and gave a quick wipe to each one with a paper towel. All appear shiny and in great shape. I did look inside and most had the same brownish rust looking coloring on the inside in the ends. If they do rust, they are supposedly guaranteed for life... We will see how they hold up.So, long story short, I asked McGard, they said it was normal and not rust. The outsides look great. I will put them on and see how they hold up. If they do rust or have any other issues I will update the review, but they look great so far.

Best Lug Nuts You Can Get
I bought these McGard lug nuts to replace the worthless OEM two-piece lug nuts that came on our Ford Escape. I got hit with a $180 bill to replace "swollen lug nuts" at my dealership. How do lug nuts "swell"? That happens when you use a two-piece design in order to try to match the aluminum finish on the wheel. The lug nuts "swell" from moisture, road salt and repeated stress from impact tools. The McGard lug nuts are triple-chrome plated, solid steel, one-piece lug nuts that have a lifetime warranty. They are guaranteed to never rust, chip or peel. They look really good on the Escape's wheels. They were a perfect fit for the Escape's wheels. It feels good knowing that I won't ever have to replace these lug nuts, or face a problem with their "swelling." If you want the very best lug nuts for your car, these are the ones. The quality shines through the triple-chrome plating. If you have two-piece lug nuts, get rid of them now and get some lug nuts you won't have to replace, and that won't leave you with a wheel you can't remove to fix a flat!

Good
Nice replacement for my OEM lug nuts that the dealer said were damaged due them being capped and poorly designed. Plus they look better on the car.

2014 EscapePerfect Fit
Perfect fit replacement on our 2014 Ford Escape for the poorly engineered original equipment. Your original lug nuts will distort with repeated tire rotations and you may end up like us with a flat to change but the factory lug wrench won't fit the distorted originals! Best $60 preventative purchase I have ever made to eliminate a future problem. Be sure you use a six point socket with these. I torqued mine to 100 lbs.2/11/17 update Am sad to report that in the few months since the install several of these lug nuts have started to rust, thus have removed one star. Given the cost and positive reviews I am really disappointed...sigh.

Look great on a 2012 Chrysler Town & Country
Used them on a 2012 Chrysler Town & Country to replace the failed factory two piece lug nuts that had begun to swell. These are almost a perfect replacement for the factory lug nuts, they are approximately 1/2" longer. They still fit slightly recessed in the wheel lug holes. They also fit the factory tire wrench. They feel very solid and out of the box they look amazing. The color of them is a touch off, the factory nuts appear to have a dull aluminum color as does the wheels whereas these McGard nuts are a bright chrome. To me not a big deal, a little dust and it's all the same. Just hoping they don't rust (the reason I bought the McGard over some of the Chinese options for less money which many reviews showed rusted nuts after a few years). All in all very happy with the purchase.

Outside May Not Rust, Inside Can
The set for 4 McGard 64012 Chrome Bulge Cone Seat Style Lug Nuts (M12 x 1.5 Thread Size) ordered for our 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan fit fine - the 3/4 hex (21 mm) socket allowed the torque setting to be made just like on the factory lug nuts.Like these better than the factory lug nuts because they're solid (factory lug nuts have the chrome cap that becomes loose and falls off over the years) with what looks like good chrome plating on the outside. However, they are taller and heavier than the factory originals, and they stick out further on the factory alloy rims. You probably don't want to intermingle them on a wheel, not that the weight different that close to the spindle should make a big difference, but you'll want to have 5 on the wheel they're used on, not just the 4 that are provided with this package. Finally, the inside of the lug nuts arrived already rusted. Not the threads; they were fine. but down in the top past the threads had obvious rust, the dust of which was visible in the unsealed package. McGard's brochure clearly indicates that the guarantee does not apply to the inside of the lug nuts. (I carefully applied some oil inside the nuts while keeping it off of the threads and the van doesn't see the snow, ice, and salt that other parts of the country has, so have put them to use.)
