Sevylor Spare Parts Kit

This repair kit came with a bunch of stuff you hope you will never need, bust must have if you do. I figured for the price it was worth keeping in the dry box for river trips. Hope for the best but be prepared for the worst I always say.UPDATE - I am raising this kit from 4 stars to 5. That's because I just came back from a river trip with a thorn in one of my K79 Tahiti kayaks. It happened at a class V takeout trail that was completely overgrown with blackberries. (NOTHING will puncture a Sevylor K79 Tahiti Classic kayak quite as easily as a darned thorn on the river bank!) Fortunately the included PVC glue and patch material fixed it right up as good as new. I also like that the patch material is clear, so you hardly even notice the finished repair. I wish I had had this material for another thorn hole I repaired several years back on another boat with whatever material I had on hand. That patch worked great too, but it doesn't look nearly as good as this one.I have three Sevylor Tahiti kayaks for class II & III river tripping with friends and family. And I ALWAYS take along a small dry box packed with repair items one might need in case of a hole or valve malfunction. The Sevylor Spare Parts Kit isn't EVERYTHING you might need, but it is certainly a very important part of a good emergency plan.The glue and patch material with this kit is more for permanent, home-based, over-night repairs than for emergency ones on a river bank, but it is good stuff. For quicker, "emergency" repairs check out the Sevylor emergency patches that have a peel-off backing and then go on like tape.

The Sevylor Spare Parts Kit includes: patching material (swatch of PVC and tube of PVC glue), two Boston valves, two large and two small push-in plugs, and adapters for Boston valves, pinch valves, Coleman Double Lock and mini Double Lock valves. I was most interested in the Boston valves as I needed to replace one for my Sevylor Fish Hunter inflatable boat. I was having difficulty finding information on which valve I needed so I went with the kit since it stated that it was for a regular PVC boat. The current product image says there is one Boston Valve (T) and one (F). A note was included in the kit that stated "There are two (2) Boston Valves (Black) in this kit. Only one will fit your inflatable (because of a size transition)...please discard the improper valve unless you have another inflatable that it will fit." This information should have been included in the product description. Also, the packaging of the kit that I received has been updated and does not specify that the Boston Valves are two different sizes.

The product came in quick time and complete. I was not able to get the proper parts from COLEMAN the distributor of the air bed and the set had the correct plug I needed, super duper. In addition, they include a patch kit of plastic material with glue in the event a hole develops in the bed itself.For the cost, it is a very good deal and I recommend it to anyone who needs replacement valve caps.

Somehow the cap to my tube got lost at the lake after deflating the tube. I figured the tube would never see better days again but was surprised when I found this repair kit which included a replacement. Much less expensive than buying a whole new tube. Works the same as the original.

These are awesome!!! Contains spare plugs and both sizes of boston valves. We have purchased more than 4 of these for our rafts.

This product was good for the price. I was able to patch an air mattress with much ease. It's a good buy!

Great product and definitely a life saver. I lost the original valve cover and was lucky enough to find an awesome replacement.
