Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great float with a durable skin. It also has a large inflation port, making it easier to both inflate and (especially) deflate. The look of the flamingo is probably more realistic than most. It's fun and floats well.

This is a large float. Works great for some larger adults. Made of thicker more durable material. Very cute. Took it on vacation with my grown children and everyone loved it. So far it has held up well.It is a little hard to blowup. Takes lots of air. We found an air pump made for air mattresses works best.Update: We have used this for two summers so far. This has held up well against some slight rough use from my 21 yr old son. It does very slowly lose air. We have to add a little more every 2-3 days.

I now own two of these because I love them so much. They are the perfect size for an adult and are so much fun to float on. Great quality - my lasted for two years before it had its first minor hole

Good size for adult..

This float is great for hanging out in the pool. It is eye catching and fun to use. If it were any larger, it would be very unwieldy and difficult to move around. The one downside is that when I'm floating I have no control over where I'm going--I have to either hang onto the pool's edge or have a friend make sure I don't drift all over the place. For this reason, the float is not ideal for use in lakes, where it could be more dangerous to drift away. Others have also commented that the float should have a cup holder, but I don't mind holding my drink, or letting it rest on my lap. After a few uses, the float got a pinhole leak somehow (probably from setting it on something on the concrete pool deck--does not appear to be a defect). I have patched it with the kit that came with the float, but haven't had a chance to use it since.

So let me just start by saying the only reason I bought the flamingo float was because the unicorn float increased to $30 while it was in my cart and I refused to spend that kind of money on a float. $20 is really my limit. Moral of that story, don't let anything sit in your Amazon cart for more than a day.Now for my review on the float - i actually love it! The material is so much thicker than I expected. So I think it'll be great for durability. I've only used it once, but already had adult men diving through the center hole, and it held up great. I'm excited to use it for the rest of the summer.Side note - I see that the unicorn float is now back to $20 but I like the flamingo float so much, I'm not even worried about the other float now. Plus, I think the flamingo is cuter.

Great quality and looks awesome in the pool. Because they get dirty over the entire summer months, we buy a new one every year and they really hold up well. Highly recommend.

The material is more durable than I envisioned, it stays inflated, and makes pool time even more fun. When I’m not using it, all the kids at our campground want to use it and I don’t mind at all if they play rough with it because it seems like it will hold up well. I do use a pump to inflate this tube... it’s pretty big so doing it the old fashioned way would take a while! Also, the tail is really nice to use as a pillow. We bought two parrot tubes from GoFloats as well and those are equally as durable - the tail pillow is even better on those.I recommend to everyone who asks at the pool and I absolutely recommend it to you too!
