Amazon Basics Dual Tip Brush Pens - Blendable, Nylon Brush and Fine Tip, 24-Pack, Assorted

I have been practicing my hand lettering a lot lately and have been on a search for the greatest brush pens. Stabillo 68 brush pens and marvy color-in are some of my faves.Tombow has never been that great for me. You have to really focus to get line variation and they are over $2 a pen. I haven't heard much about these Amazon Basic markers, I was hesitant to buy them because there are just so many bad 'brush markers' on Amazon, but the price is so good on these, I figured I'd give em a shot. They look just like Tombows and average about 66 cents each. Dirt cheap for brush markers!My expectations were low. Dont get me wrong, practice is the only thing that will make your lettering great, but a good pen makes the process easier and more enjoyable.I am AMAZED at how good these markers are! You can get nice fat down strokes, and razor thin upstrokes with minimal effort. They are actually easier to use than Tombow, especially for a beginner imo. I'm just really impressed with these! For as cheap as they are is doesn't even matter if they don't last years, but they will definitely last long enough to get your moneys worth! They bounce back a little better than tombow and are a little more flexible. I love them! The colors are unique and beautiful. I had to leave this review,even before I finished swatching all the colors in my set of 24( wishing I would have gotten the larger set) . Buy them before they raise the price, these are amazing! I was lucky enough to get unbelievable deal on these. No clue I just really bought $30 markers! They're so phenomenal, I'm glad bought on deal bc even at regular price, I know they are worth every penny! Long lasting, colors brilliant, super cool plastic stand to fit each marker in; I was able to give nephew (6yrs) ALL other dual tip markers (3 diff brands!) These are ONLY markers that I've ever done that! I use to color w/! If I COULD draw, I can't imagine how fabulous an artist would love these! Don't miss the best! WHO knew?!

Just got these, I like them, it's a good price for the variety of colors you get and the ink is not streaky. I also found some colors have better pigmentation than their Tombow counterparts. Out of 52 pens only 1 came out dry, which I found strange since it was closed well and not broken; it was a dark red so I was kinda sad it was wasted. The pen stand is hard to set up, I had to use a hammer and it still didn't snap in completely. The reason I don't consider this a Tombow Slayer is because of the brush nib, it is incredibly stiff, it has no bend to it. This is because the brush nib seems to be 25% thinner and shorter than the Tombow pens. I had to tip the pen to almost a 90 degree angle to make a thicker line. The point is extremely thin and allows for thinner lines that the Tombows can't make, but because of the shorter and smaller brush don't expect to make lines thicker than a 1/4 inch, and even that's a stretch.

I really like these. Good colors. Easy to use. Comfortable to hold. Just hope they don't dry out quickly.

These Amazon Basics markers should be called "Extreme Markers" because they are they are extremely nicely manufactured and a great value! The box contains a wide assortment of colors, and each marker features two tips as shown in the pictures. Wow, these will surely benefit artists both amateur and professionals, complete with a handy stand, wow!

These markers come in a great assortment of colors but the brush tip is too soft and flimsy for smooth hand lettering.

Beautiful color variety, brush tip and pen tip are perfect for everyday use.

I’ve used all brands of marker Crayola Rosar, various types. These by far are the best. They are very easy to use and the colors are so perfect. Not too many of the same shade like other markers. Highly recommend.

Tengo mucho que decir acerca de estos plumones. Aclaro que mi reseña está dirigida a personas que se dedican a la caligrafía y los apuntes bonitos.Sobre la gama de colores: Estos son los colores 🤯, me impresionó la gama de colores.A mi opinión, hay muchos verdes y me gustaría ver otros rosas. Pero, hay aproximadamente 10 colores pasteles y eso es muy apreciable en un paquete de plumones.Algo que me gustaría decir sobre los plumones y sus tonos pastel, es que me volaron la cabeza, por este motivo: nosotros como consumidores de los marcatextos pastel, hemos observado que los marcatextos amarillos pastel nunca son realmente pasteles y hasta este momento, como algunos sabemos el mejor amarillo pastel entre los marcatextos es el azor visión plus; pero este amazon basic es casi imperceptible, en cámara luce un poco más fluorescente de lo que es, es un color muy bien logrado, aunque la confusión llega a ser grande para algunas personas que piensan que el plumón viene seco.Y por último, los colores son muy lindos, son combinables (porque son base agua) y el negro es buenísimo.Sobre la estructura de los plumones: miden lo mismo que un Tombow, pero son ligeramente más delgados, los tombow tienen un plástico opaco que los hace muy agradables al tacto, pero, como se alcanza a ver, los amazon basics tienen un plástico brillante que sí los hace un poco más ‘pegajosos’ que un crayola normal, pero esto ya es cuestión de gustos, tienen doble punta al igual que los tombow (una punta bala muy rígida y la punta pincel). Sobre las tapas: Noto que la tapa pequeña no encaja muy bien en la tapa grande y esta cuestión es muy importante para mí, puede que para muchos esto no cause ninguna complicación, pero, en lo personal, para mí es un tanto insufrible.La punta no es similar a la de los tombow, a diferencia de las opiniones; yo observo una punta más pequeña en cuanto ancho y largo, pero, efectivamente, esto los hace plumones casi, específicamente de caligrafía en lugar de ser unos plumones para el dibujo o acuarelear.Lastimosamente, como la mayoría de plumones de punta pincel, las hojas con mucha textura (como los miquel rius de hojas recicladas u hojas de bajo gramaje), lastiman un poco la punta, incluso podría decir, que una hoja un poco texturizada estropearía la punta.Finalmente, sobre los trazos: la punta es muy flexible, es fácil de trabajar para manos experimentadas, yo recomendaría un paquete pequeño para principiantes en las puntas pincel.Creo que los plumones son una gran inversión, si estás buscando algo de calidad y económico.
