Definitely holds a monitor
Bolted this bad boy up to my wall, holds a curved 27” samsung monitor in any position I need with ease. I had to reduce the tension a bit, but was overall very simple to install and set up. 10/10 would buy again, price was right and the product is solid. What I like best is when I bang my knee into the desk, this monitor doesn't wobble all over like it’s big brother that sits right on the desk

Amazing, totally changes my workspace
I don't know how I went without a monitor arm like this for so long. Once installed, it functions perfectly. You can adjust the tightness of the joints to make sure that the monitor stays put where you need it to be. This thing is SO sturdy, I'd worry about my wall before worrying about breaking the item itself. The only problem I had is that it's a pain in the ass to install. I needed my boyfriend to help me secure it properly.I do also recommend what I think someone else's review did: cut out a piece of cardboard the size of your monitor and tape it to the arm where the mounting socket would be, just so you can see where on the wall you need the arm to go without lifting significantly more weight to get it mounted.

Nice mounts
I used a couple of these to hang my 3 monitors. They worked very well. Easy to install. They seem to be good quality compared to some I've used. (I am the IT Manager of a medium business and have installed MANY mounts in the past few years.)Just make sure to adjust the tensions properly. Mine are very stable. It's nice to have cleared the stands off my desk!

great for the $29 usd price point
Positive:it’s a simple install, the piston makes it a bit annoying to mock up but easy enough. the mount provides great range and mobility.Negative: you may need extra parts. i would only buy this if you have spare screws and parts from other tv mount installs. it lacks a variety of screws and washers, it was missing the blades pictured to extend for a different mount, i did not need these, and luckily i had more washers and the necessary screw lengths.

Good stand
Is it perfect? No not particularly. Will it hold my $1100 monitor with zero fear of falling? Yep. Once you get this set up and angled correctly you will pretty much never find yourself moving it again unless you're cleaning, in which case this being able to move the screen clear out of the way is a brilliant positive for mounting a monitor. If you can mount your monitors, do it. I can't believe I haven't had this done years ago. The desk looks so much cleaner with much more room. The mount seems to giggle a good bit if you touch it which is extremely frustrating especially when you need to line multiple monitors up together and the stands all want to do their own little dance. I got around this by sticking little pieces of double sided tape in between and behind the screens so they have something to hold onto once set together. On my first point, having faith in this to hold a relatively expensive price if hardware; if you get this into a stud you can do pull ups off it. The weight rating is a suggestion but if you're close to it with your screen I wouldn't worry all too much. The only thing that might suffer as a result of this is the height adjustment will probably want to sag.

Great arm with one flaw
I love this thing. I do wish it had a better mobility range. The instructions should really tell you how best to install it so it's centered when it's flat against the wall. Because of the way I installed it, it has to sick out when it's centered on the wall.Otherwise it's incredibly sturdy and easy to install.

pretty great!
this is fantastic! super heavy duty, moves beautifully and stays exactly where you put it. i am so happy i bought it... the only gripe i have is that in certain positions the arms collide, unfortunately its the position i want it in most of the time. it doesnt like to be low and close to the wall. the plastic cable guide hits the other arm in that position, knocking it off and all the cables come loose. but thats probably not an issue for most people. the solution would be to mount it lower, so its not at the bottom range of its motion when in use.

Works well for 40" screen weighing 5.8kg
Product works well - we use it for the screen in our bedroom. Tilt and rotation all support a large 40 inch TV screen weighing 5.8 kg. I had to tighten the screws but did not have to change any parts as others described in the product reviews.
