When hanging the light we dropped it and it shattered into pieces, the company quickly sent us another one. The light is perfect for my laundry room and it looks so nice! I am very happy with the purchase and would buy anything from this company again.

A really nice looking light. The only "con" is that the outer shell that fits over the base, fits loosely and allows light to come out around the edges.. The black stripping they sent doesn't work on a white ceiling or a popcorn/acoustical ceiling..Great light.. Very bright..

I had to have these installed and they are bright and look good. The only think I don't like is the gap between the celling and the frame. It came with foam striping but it is not enough if you have a textured celling.

It’s so poorly made it’s difficult to install. Good bright light, looks good once installed, wish it was dimmable. Not bad if it lasts

The media could not be loaded. *EDITED*. The original light did come damaged. I immediately contacted the seller, their website allowed me to file a claim, and they replaced it immediately. The light is beautiful in my kitchen and very bright. The light is very attractive, and I like the fact that it was made out of wood, real wood. But all four corners of the light fixture had come apart in the shipping process, apparently. A little disheartening to pay hard earned money for something that won’t stay together.

There are many reviews which mention the very poor quality of the crown molding casing. Believe them! The box frame is supposed to arrive fully assembled and ready to mount. Ours came in four peices, and inspection showed that the mitered corners were put together with 1/4 inch staples of very low guage and none sunk into the wood. We spent nearly 4 hours attemping to assemble it with various items. Glue was first choice, but there is no way fit a corner clamp on top or bottom. Staples did not work as when it was moved they popped out. After wasting hours, we did resort to finsish nails, but had to fashion a jig to hold corners sort of aligned. Now, not one mitered corner is even, the top and bottms of the frame are not level side to side, and it is a mess. I have years of woodworking under belt, but could not get corners aligned. I now have to sand each corner to round them off slightly and sand bottom even so diffuser will sit correctly. The top will likely need to have moulding all around to cover the shims I'll have to use to make it even on the ceiling. Instructions just show poking wire through whole with no romex connector to hold cable. Putting one on will involve making a bigger hole in the ceiling as it sticks out of the fixture. I hope the light actually works, I've not tested it. Amazon should open each box and see what we all are talking about! The ONLY saving grace is that the frame peices are real wood and not particle board. JUNK

Price alittle high, but gives off as good light as my old florescent light that was 120 watts, this one only uses 35 watts
