I am VERY impressed with the Kaboom system. I followed the directions and cleaned the toilet thoroughly before installing the system. I have not had to clean the toilet in three months. Even the underrim stays clean. There is a slight chlorine smell when you flush the toilet but I can live with that.

Been using tablets in my tank.I thought I would give this system a try. I became concerned about bleach tablets possibly eroding the seals in my tank. I need to say over the past 15 years I did not have any seal failure due to the strength of the bleach/chemicals. Just seemed to be a smarter way to a self cleaning bowl. Installation was quick and easy.There is an installation video available..but was not needed. There was no harsh smell as exhibited by other products. Each pouch is suppose to last3 months. Be aware that it depends how often you flush the toilet. Both tablets do not rest in water. There are 2 adults living in this house with multiple bathrooms. I would think 3+ months would be a reachable goal before next refill. Other tank products rest in water 24/7 and might dissolve faster than the Kaboom tablets. Too early to judge the effectiveness of the product. That is why I gave it only 4 stars. Will try to update my review later. I think this Kaboom Continuous Clean is worth a try.

This product is simply amazing. With the hard water issues in our city, we had to scrub out toilet very often to keep a ring gone. This product totally works. The ring is gone forever. It keeps the toilet clean without harming the mechanisms in the tank. Highly highly recommend.

I really like the idea - the cleaner just goes into the overflow tube, so you only have cleaner sitting in the bowl and not also the tank. Supposedly that's better for rubber seals.The Kaboom is unfortunately super cheap plastic, and it continually leaks. I wish there was a sturdier version on the market!I also absolutely HATE the bromine tablet smell. It reminds me of a porta-potty. Just doesn't smell clean. Even with just one tab in there. Keeping the lid closed at all times helps. Also, these just really don't do a great job of keeping things clean. Go away for a weekend and I'd come back to slight ring around the water line.I found that chlorine tabs work a lot better and are like a tenth of the price. I use the vac plus brand. Just one. Seems to do the job and a very slight hint of bleach does not bother me in the least. Way less odor than the Kaboom tabs, and smells downright good compared to bromine.

Low odor with good results.My wife can’t stand the high bleach smell of other cleaners that are added to the toilet tank. She barely noticed this version. I added another flowery smelling gel “cleaner” to the toilet bowl and now she can’t tell the Kaboom is installed.Keep in mind, I never told her that the Kaboom was installed.I haven’t needed to clean the toilets for at least 60 days. Before Kaboom it was more like 7 days between cleaning.

I've never had a toilet that gets dirty so quickly since I've moved into my current house. Everything sticks to the sides it's so gross! This sounded like a great item to help keep it cleaner. I was skeptical at first but it really works! Even my parents want one for their toilet.It was easy to install following directions. It doesn't take a lot of room. It can also be easily removed or transferred to another toilet. The tablets do smell pretty strong. My bathroom smells slightly of chlorine which is the only downside, but the clean toilet makes it worth it.
