Be careful how you squirted in your ear
I got the OTC guard because I thought it would help with my ear. Itchy, yes flaky skin, yes, dry my ear is very dry. I was hoping this would help moisturize my ear, and get the itchiness under control. It seems to work somewhat. I don't know how it works with breaking down ear wax, because that's not a problem that I have. My biggest problem is the noise that is made when you squirt the goo oil into your ear. It's a bit Sharp but this is better than the other oil that I bought which drips down my neck. It doesn't smell which is nice, because some of the other ones that I've used have a garlic base and sometimes you can smell the garlic as it goes in.

Easy to use but not that effective
I really like the easy to spray nozzle attachment which is an improvement over the tradition glass tube with a squeeze bulb. However, this product relieved my ear itching only temporarily and must be sprayed at least twice per day. Also, it is a lot more expensive than similar products on Amazon.

Don't waste your money, did nothing to remove my ear wax...ended up going to my MD to have it removed. The sprayer was too hard to push, had to have my husband do it.

I can hear!
Being 30 now it seems like I deal with a bit more wax build up than usual which might be because I've used earbuds for years, but this little ear spray has been a huge help in breaking up the wax. I was feeling pretty miserable not being able to hear anything until getting this stuff. One thing to note with this stuff though is to let the spray do a similar effect to getting water in your ears when you tilt your head to spray twice. Let it set for a few seconds and have either a paper towel or toilet paper the remaining amount can drip on to. May help to try and pop ears by acting like you're going to yawn a few times after.
